2. In what type of venue did it take place? funeral home

3. Did you take a dish? If so, what was it? no dish, the whole family knows I can't cook

4. Did one (or more) of the cousins attempt to use the reunion as a dating service? LOL, no thankfully

5. If your answer to #4 was in the affirmative, do you live in the South? Yes, that is why I was laughing

6. How many people attended? hundreds, it was a funeral - Southern style

7. Of those who attended, how many did you actually know? sadly, a lot of them but quite a few I failed to recognize and some of the old codgers live there and failed to recognize each other

1. When was the last family reunion you attended?

Never. My family is all under the delusion that they are only children and didn’t have kids. It works out quite nicely…

2. In what type of venue did it take place?

Isn’t venue like a virtual menu or something?

3. Did you take a dish? If so, what was it?

Her name was Yvonne…

4. Did one (or more) of the cousins attempt to use the reunion as a dating service?

I thought that only occurred in Arkansas?

5. If your answer to #4 was in the affirmative, do you live in the South?

I sure do. I live in the Southern part of the Northern portion of one of the most Northern of our states's cities in one of the most Northern states in North America.

6. How many people attended?

I don’t like to attend to much, I seem to lose my attention…

7. Of those who attended, how many did you actually know?

That would be attending again. Attending and actually counting…that’s waaaay too much effort.

8. How long did the reunion last? And how long did you stay?

I like to stay at any party until you hit that uncomfortable time where the hosts want to go to bed but you’re still there being obnoxious…

9. All in all, how was it?

Not a bad list of questions. Would have helped had I actually been to a family reunion but thanks for asking for a critique of your questions…

Echoes of Eddie -30 is up for your perusal and approval.

1. Last family reunion? Have never been to one.

2.-9. - N/A

There were two funerals (my parents - my father in 1995 and mother in 2000) - I find it hard to refer to their funerals as reunions.

Funny definitions, Mona. Much better than anything I could have thought of.:)

LOL, Corn Dog. I know exactly what you're talking about. Southern funerals are "events.":)

VE, you've NEVER been to a family reunion?:)

You haven't, either, Mike? Lord, I don't know how you guys have escaped them. LOL. I'll catch up with "Eddie" as soon as I can.:)

Serena, I love your home. It is a wqarm and friendly place, but I want to kill the Snapshots thingamabobs every time I come here. It's probably because I have a piece of doo doo machine and It doesn't handle your page well every thing just takes so much time to navigate.

Screetching: vb, yelling and retching at the same moment in time.

Oviation: vb, The act of adding way too much Ovaltine to your milk.

Tyrade: n,
Limade- from limes.
Lemonade- from lemons.
Tyrade- from tyres.

Oh, and for the meme. I'm with Corn dog.

It ended in a total fiasco.

Woody Allen couldn't have written it better

Okay, so I'm a day late and - presumably - a dollar short. I wanted to do this one anyway.

***

1. When was the last family reunion you attended?

Manson parole hearing, 2007

2. In what type of venue did it take place?

Small room with a large wooden table

3. Did you take a dish? If so, what was it?

Yes. The lady from Accounting

4. Did one (or more) of the cousins attempt to use the reunion as a dating service?

They all did. The bailiffs had to pull out the hose

5. If your answer to #4 was in the affirmative, do you live in the South?

No, it this case the South apparently lives in us

6. How many people attended?

There were 3 "Non-Family" on one side of the table, Charlie on the other, and the rest of us were in the cheap seats. So 18-total (enough for a game of softball)

7. Of those who attended, how many did you actually know?

They've really changed. On some I could barely make out the swastikas. So I'd have to say I don't know them at all, anymore

8. How long did the reunion last? And how long did you stay?

One hour. I plan on 5-to-7, depending on good behavior

9. All in all, how was it?

It was embarrassing. Practically everybody wore one type of outfit or the other. So much for making a statement

Sorry about that, NYD. Maybe the Snapshots experiment has run its course; verdict: more trouble than it's worth.

Thanks for some definitions that made me laugh.:)

You lead a colorful life, Puggy. LOL.:)
