1. Would you rather eat a burger, hotdog, seafood, steak, or something else?

10-pound bag of scallops

2. Whichever item you choose, what do you put on it (e.g., catsup, mayo, relish, lettuce, tomato, etc.)?

Each scallop needs something unique applied to it

3. Would you wrap in foil and throw on the grill a baked potato or corn on the cob?

I conceal a surplus hand grenade in foil so that it looks like a wrapped potato. Then I make a point of unwrapping it in front of everybody

4. Would you prefer to drink iced tea, soda, lemonade, water, or something else with your meal?

Drinking would just slow me down. That why I use an IV tube instead

5. For dessert, would you choose watermelon, ice cream, or cake?

I wait at the curb for the Ice Cream truck, and see if I can get a line to form

6. Would you eat your meal at a back yard picnic table, on a covered porch/patio, or take it inside?

If it's at somebody else's house, I always insist that we take it inside

7. Would you invite some of your neighbors to join you?

Yes, but I'm very selective. If the husband is cool, but I don't like the wife, then only he can come over

8. If you played games after you ate, would you choose croquet, badminton, football, or hide and seek?

Truth or dare

9. Are you hungry now?

Yes, so how soon can you can the grill going?

8. If you played games after you ate, would you choose croquet, badminton, football, or hide and seek?

Badminton

Kind of

I haven't grilled out in ten years simply because of where I live. Would have to go downstairs and back to do it. Plus there are raccoons in the woods close by. Hungry ones.

They do say that "first" causes you to work up a powerful appetite, Mike. Hope you got something to eat.:)

LOL, Bilbo. I didn't think much could be done with those words, but you did it. I'm LMAO at the thought of the Chinese gangs. We have poowr here in southern VA, too.:-)

Blogger was NOT behaving around 5:30, /t. SOB ate a lengthy reply here and then gave the "Unavailable, sorry for the inconvenience" message. Grrrrr. All in all, I've had a pretty good day, but I'm glad my weekend has now started. This week has been killer. And how was YOUR day?:)

Ooooo, Puggy -- yum! I love scallops, too, so we'll need TWO 10-pound bags. I like mine nekkid, though, so you can have all the condiments. The grill's fired up, the scallops are caught, there's nothing to drink, the ice cream truck's idling at the curb, and I'm pumped for Truth or Dare, so come and get it. Don't bring that potato, though; I know where it's been.:-)

I'm not crazy about steak, Roxan, but I wouldn't turn one down fresh off the grill. With baked potato AND corn on the cob, and some nice iced tea to wash it down. I kind of prefer eating inside, too; I don't need any extra protein from dive-bombing bugs. I don't blame you for not cooking out much what with a woods full of hungry raccoons.:)

I like nekkid burgers, too, Kan; nothin' but the meat and the bun and some cheese. Meat for dessert? Ugh! You had steak for lunch? Cool. As are your definitions today. I'm giggling about the whole discription in my head of some stongley sex.:-)

Mike's a burger man. Yeah!:)

Hotdogs are my second choice, Galen. I'll usually eat one AFTER I've had a burger. I still don't see how you can drink unsweetened iced tea. What, no cake? That's okay, I'll take yours.:-)

Steak. Always steak if I have the choice. :)

2. Whichever item you choose, what do you put on it (e.g., catsup, mayo, relish, lettuce, tomato, etc.)?
A-1 Steak Sauce, unless it's in the form of teriayki kabobs... mmm...teriayki... (teriayki may not be spell right)

3. Would you wrap in foil and throw on the grill a baked potato or corn on the cob?
Corn on the cob--grilled corn on the cob is delicious! Nummy!

Soda, however, if it's dinner, I'm having milk.

5. For dessert, would you choose watermelon, ice cream, or cake?
Chocolate cake, although I want the watermelon too...

6. Would you eat your meal at a back yard picnic table, on a covered porch/patio, or take it inside?

Back yard picnic table.

7. Would you invite some of your neighbors to join you?

Not where I live now. I'm not overly impressed by my new neighbors.

Badminton or croquet--I love both of those.

9. Are you hungry now?
Yep--but that's okay, Cause it's breakfast time. :D I'm thinking steak for breakfast.. ;)

I'm with you, Snow -- A-1 on the steak and grilled corn on the cob instead of baked potato. At this cookout, you can have watermelon AND cake.:)

Sounds like a good, well-dressed burger, Greeny. I'd prefer the tea, too. I don't like anything carbonated with a meal. Love your answer to #5. That would be my answer, too.:)
