The Thursday Q & A

Make your own clipart like this @ www.TXT2PIC.com
On a scale of 1 to 10:

1. How disgusted with politics are you?

2. How tired of the current administration are you?

3. How frazzled and tired of holiday activities are you already?

4. How weird do you think the weather is?

5. How much do you need a vacation?

6. How satisfied are you with your weight?

7. How satisfied are you with your mate?

Today's lineup of Words Gone Wild -- and you define them, please. I'm worn out.

You Should Have a Purple Christmas Tree

For you, the holidays represent a time of creativity and expression.
There's no way you'd do something bland simply for tradition's sake.

You are an independent person, and you definitely do the holidays your own way.
And you're decadent enough to go way over the top with any unusual holiday ideas you have.

Your purple tree would look great with: Purple lights and ornaments

You should spend Christmas Eve watching: A Christmas Story

What you should bake for Santa: "Kitchen sink" cookies - with a ton of things in them

You seem to feel very strongly about #2, Kan. Yeah! Um, about #7, is there some new development I should know about?:-)

Love you definitions today. I'm seeing a whole theme developing with contata that I did not see coming. LOL.

Thanks, VE, for the assortment of witty answers I've come to expect of you. Re #10, trust me, mating is better than molting.:)

/t., your answers in that format look so mathematically precise. Since I'm a mathematical moron, I don't know why it struck me that way. I do know it's not pi. But it just ... flows. Your definition is also perfect.:)

Charles, you, too, have strong sentiments about #2. Yeah! I concur in your opinion about #4 as well. Your definitions just cracked me up. I got this little mental movie with your actuall -- cornpone director flitting around, flapping his arms, and yelling, "Act, y'all!":-)

No developments. I am single so therefore am dating myself. I LOVE myself =D. I would lose some weight if I had my say, but who am I to tell me how to look? I might hold out on myself or something and that would be awful.

LOL, Kan. No, don't hold out on yourself. Carry on. LOL.:)

Greeny, your #1 and #2 sound right on target. And your #7 is so sweet.:) VERY good definitions, my dear.

Well, Galen, I'm glad you kinda like my specs. For that, I'll give you a pass on not answering the questions. Clearly, you got a little sidetracked thinking about Dorothy Parker.:-)

Poor Trée. I wouldn't dare laugh at your #5, because I know how serious you are. And yes, you can take #7 as jesting. Lot of that going on.:)

Galen, Galen. We have colorful Christmas trees today, no cookies.:-)

1) Is not Disguste a synonym for Politics?

2) the ennui is akin to rigor mortis

3) Not frazzled YET - that happens when i finally START gift shopping.

4)Weird is putting it mildly - Over the past 5+ years I cannot remmember such crazy weather across the country, or the worlde, for that matter.

5) ginormously

6) hmmm ... 5'11" - 175 lbs - I'm okay with that

7) Can I plead the fifth? Seriously, we haven't been married for 35+years with some measure of stisfaction.

Oops! Oh my. I missed we were suppose to answer on a scale. If I had more money, maybe I could afford to pay attention.

Rather than delete and start over:

1 - 10
2 - 10+
3 - 2
4 - 10
5 - 10
6 - 10
7 - 10

Darn Keyboard Poltergeists:

disguste (minus e)

when i (delete i, insert I)

remmember (minus m)

worlde (minus e)

35+ years of marriage with___some measure (insert "out")

s_tisfaction (insert a)

I don't want to be a poster child for Twisted Linguistics)

I'm sure those typos are a result of being exhausted from all the snow shoveling this afternoon - only 12+ inches at 9PM.

I still think the Keyboard Poltergeists had a hand in on it.

Thanks, Mona.:)

Great answers, Mike, even with the keyboard poltergeists. Shoot, the little fellows just made it more fun.:-)

Wow, Pink, you have some really high numbers going on here. As soon as the administration changes and the ice in London melts, you need to take a tropical vacation!:)

Why, thank you, NYD. BTW, I think your own new pic is pretty smashing.:) I'm just loving the diversity of answers to #7. Maybe it IS all weather-related. LOL. When you get to the States, give my regards to the Monster -- and to Broadway.:)
