Scaring The Pants Off You

I don't see that many horror movies; gore and I don't mix too well. Apparently, I pay attention on some level to commercials, though. See how you do with this.

At the risk of having someone come and strip me of my degree in Linguistics, I'll take a shot at some REALLY scary little poetry:

People’s spelling’s gone to pot,
I don’t know how to handle this;
When words like “viddles” and “wherf” abound,
It’s nothing short of scandulous!

(And more to the point, ridiculious!)

Not any more can one still have
A pleasant conversatioin;
When words are spelled so cavalierly
All across the natioin.

It’s time to say our catacism –
Pray it long and loud;
That we avoid the cataclysm
Of the foully-spelling crowd.

So take your misspelled words away,
Submit them for proper wharehousing;
And then go back to what you do best:
Linguistically carousing.

Not too well, I'm afraid. I got my paw stuck, trying to get the 1st poster out of its tube. And it just went downhill from there.

I'll try not to scare you, Galen, because I do insist that everyone keep their pants on around here. You got 10 out of 10? Kudos!:)

Say what, /t.? Well, posters or no posters, hope you had a Happy Monday.:)

Bilbo, I'm giving you a MASTERS in Linguistics. What a stellar poem! Absolutely superb.:)

Poor Pugsley. Pups should never stick their paws into tubes and other places where they can't see what's inside. I hope it's better now. Just ... don't lick it.:)

And the same to you, /t. In truth, I didn't even realize it was Hump Day 'til around noon. All in all, it's been a pretty good one.
