Give Me A Break!

layouts myspace

There's so much "stuff" going on that catatonia is starting to look pretty good to me. It's late September and, for the first time ever, I have no clue for whom to vote in the November election. It feels like being between a rock and a hard place.

And then there's the economy. It almost makes me feel like pulling the proverbial blanket over my head.

Then, I stop and think about all the mundane, everyday "stuff" going on in my own little world and sometimes feel physically ill at the magnitude of it all. And it just hit me yesterday that in the midst of all that, I'm going to have to start holiday shopping soon.

There are a few hacking/phishing/spamming/whatever episodes that I've encountered lately. I've even had to limit access to my own forum because of a particularly relentless onslaught. Therefore, it didn't do my sense of maintaining control much good when I encountered this message the first time I tried to get into Blogger to write this post:

Someone else editing my blog? WTF?! I don't think so! Grrrrrrrr.

Universe, if you're listening, I need a break!

Doom and gloom, be gone. Let's have some fun with a few blasfomys.

Well all-Hell! And here I thought I was life's favorite crap target... Is this what happens when I can't blog? Perhaps I owe it to you to visit here every day so that my mojo protects and comforts you. Great thing I decided to visit first thing today instead of trying to visit during lunch like I normally fail to do. You should be covered today and I promise to come here first thing tomorrow as well. We will get you through this week.

As far as whom to vote for: I can't say, but I damn well know who to vote AGAINST and that sort of limits my options.

PS- I tried that Stress reduction and now I owe my boss a new monitor. Perhaps I should have printed that and taped it to a wall first...

But on the bright side I have a thousand dollars from a garage sale! Bwahahaha

On the not so bright side, now thanks to you I see I'm going to just have to turn around and spend it on holiday shopping items.

Damn...

I have to at least THINK about it, Galen. And Halloween. And so on and so forth, forever and ever, amen. You're in luck, though. I just happen to have some Chocolate Kisses. Have one!:)

All the mojo I can get is good, Kan. And Lemming mojo is particularly powerful, so thank you for coming early. You just possibly warded off the evil eye for another day. Alas, I now find myself mondo confused by your last sentence and in need of still MORE mojo. Isn't the one you vote against getting your vote for, by default? I'm so confused! As, apparently, were you. Yes, you were supposed to print the kit out and duct tape it to a soft surface. Just don't tell your boss and maybe you won't have to add to your stress by shelling out for a new monitor.:)

Sorry about that, VE. Unfortunately, that's pretty much how it works. It comes in, it goes out -- often before it even comes in. Damn nifty scam, ain't it?:)

LOL, Roxan! I love that.:-)

It seems that a whole lot of people are feeling this way, Serena.

Take some time off for yourself this weekend. Go for a drive to somewhere pretty and leave the hairy bulls**t behind for the afternoon.

It ain't the cure, but it is a break...

I WISH I could take a "me" weekend, NYD. Instead, I'll have a bunch of hairy bulls**t to deal with because if I don't get it done, it'll just be more of the same, ad infinitum.:)

So far, the only hackers I've encountered have been those that began hacking up hairballs at what I write ;)

May your universe be nicer!

Skunk, if these clowns were half as funny as your scammers, I wouldn't mind so much.:)
