Tagged for Quirks

pimp myspace profile

I was tagged by Ruela the other day, who had been tagged by Shadow Lor.

These are the rules:

1. Link the person(s) who tagged you.

2. Mention the rules on your blog.

3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.

4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.

5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

Ru's Taggees:

Pink
Little Lamb
Serena Joy
She
Foam
Lone Beader

So, what are some of my more unspectacular quirks? Do you think I can come up with 6? Am I quirky? Moi? Puh-leeze. Thank God, I don't have to divulge my more spectacular quirks.

1. I hate interstate highways and I will go way out of my way to avoid them.

2. I have an atavistic loathing of such tightly enclosed places as small caves, tunnels, crawlspaces, etc., and no force on Earth can make me go in them. I'm not crazy about cellars, either.

3. I can't -- and don't -- wear red. Ever.

4. I'd rather be alone than in a crowd of people; i.e., I don't like parties.

5. I taught myself to read when I was 4 or 5 years old.

6. I've never had a broken bone.

I never tag people, so if you'd like to do this, just take it and run with it. Just don't forget the linky-loos, because them's the rules.

That's très cool, Ruela.:)

Tee-hee, /t.:)

Yes, Galen, I'd wear red nail polish and lipstick if you asked very, very nicely. No red garments, though; they look too hideous on me.:)<3

Regarding #3: so if that WASN'T you at the XMAS Party in the Santa suit, then WHOSE lap DID I sit on for that 2-hours?

Um, I think it might have been /t., Puggy.:-)

Its a rule...

cool tag serena! :)

Serena said...

Mona, I guess it's a good thing that I was never an Indian bride because with my red hair, red clothes look really bad on me.:)

That was Seven, Serena. That you never tag people is a quirkiness that I find appealing.

Serena said...

Heh. I guess it was 7, NYD. 7's a lucky number, though.:)

Quirks? Does twisting the bottom seam of a pair of jeans to the point of putting holes in them count? How about having skills others don't, only to donate services rather than charge for them? Would not caring one way or the other who wins for any kind of sporting event count? Not having normal desires for the latest thing presented before me on TV, that's not a quirk, right? Spending most of my time alone despite having some really excellent and wonderful friends isn't a quirk, I know. Understanding everything /t. said wouldn't count either, right? Crap. I can't do the darned tag, besides, why would I want to tag someone for some egotistical person's(not any of you victims... uh, taggees, but the originator (since all or those links ultimately link back to them) ) benefit? 6 tags? How many people does the originator think there are in the world? 6 to the 12th power is close to half the population of the world, and to the 13th power its somewhere between 2 and three times the population of the world.
I don't know whether to consider the originator a genius or a dumb ass, although my leaning is toward the latter.

I don't see it that way. It's simply the nature of these types of memes. Most people do follow through with the tagging; I simply happen not to, mainly because I'm never comfortable with singling out a limited number of taggees. I'm not sure that it qualifies as either a benefit or a detriment. It's just part of the meme, a game, all in fun.

Yes, Pinks, on me, red is out. I love pink, though, and wear it at every opportunity. Pinks is pretty adorable, too.:)

Thanks for not tagging. I don't understand the rules. Cake. I hope that word makes up for my stupidity.

Cake makes up for just about anything, CD, with extra points for chocolate cake.:-)
