Never went to the prom.

3. Did you ever sneak out of the house at night when you were a teenager? Hell yeah! If you didn't then you are a nerd.
4. What was the first car you bought? Ford Thunderbird, BAAAAABY!!!!!
(To tell the truth it had a bit of a citrus essence to it)

I'm not really sure. It could have been something from the Talking heads or Pink Floyd, YES, ELP or the Stones. I just can't remember which.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish. Yeah a couple of times, but the one time I thought I deserved it was when I stuck a playboy centerfold on the back of a teacher that kinda resembled the model.
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it?
I re-created Thomas Edison's lightbulb. It was a total disaster.

1. Do you remember what you wore to your last prom? If so, describe it, please.
I never went to a prom. I was at a Polytechnic high school because the neighborhood one sucked. It was all boys but was converting so there were actually 10 girls there when I graduated. Now it is 50/50.
2. Would you rather drink beer or champagne?
I’m allergic to beer and I had a bad experience from champagne when I was younger (we were playing black jack for champagne shots and I lost about 8 in a row). Fruity rum drink for me please.
3. Did you ever sneak out of the house at night when you were a teenager? And be honest!
That was easy…my room was in the basement so I could just crawl out the basement window without a sound.
4. What was the first car you bought?
VW Bug. You’ve seen it on my post…
5. What was your favorite song when you were 16?
Hotel California was out that year…I’ll go with that because it was the 70s and that is all I can remember.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish.
They rarely suspended back then and I was way too smart to ever get caught…even when I skipped three days straight. I had a friend write ALL my excuse slips throughout high school so I never got busted for a forged excuse because they were all consistent.
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it?
That required too much hands-on effort and thinking.
8. In high school, were you the first or last to raise your hand in class?
I’d usually heckle and debate…

5. What was your favorite song when you were 16?
I don't think I had one.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish.
No, but probably should have been. My friend and I got away with a lot. Boy this question could have a very long answer. Might have to blog about it. LOL
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it?
Not for me but Leah.
8. In high school, were you the first or last to raise your hand in class?

Either Plainsong, or Pictures of You by The Cure. Disintegration was my favorite Cure CD.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish.
I got one day of ISS (in school suspension) for skipping class once. My mom wasn't home when the principal called and I snatched the letter out of the mailbox, so she never found out. I just sat at a desk all day and worked on a story I was writing at the time.

Wow, Skunk, a $75 car! I had a couple of $100-$200 cars back in the day. That won't even buy you a tire now. Last night's dinner sounds pretty good.:)
I hadn't even thought of the Addams Family, /t., but you're right, that's gotta be it. Hottie? Do you perchance need some glasses?:-)
Bilbo, I remember Hornets. An old boss had one and made me drive it when he sent me out on errands. I hated that thing. LOL. Your dinner sounds delicious, too. Great definitions, and I think we were on the same wave-length with the pole dancing. LOL.:)
LOL @ your #3, NYD. I guess I wasn't a nerd. #4 -- Yeah! T-birds rocked. #5 -- excellent musical taste, my man. I'm not much for sushi, but if you enjoyed it, that's all that matters.:)
I wouldn't have minded attending a boys school, VE. LOL. Rum works for me; I certainly prefer it over beer. #4 -- yeah, I recall your Bug post. #5 -- I was "a bit" older than 16, but I sure did love 'Hotel California.' Your dinner sounds yummy.:)
I didn't know you went to religious school, Roxan. Your mother's idea, no doubt? Wow, you had a $75 car, too. Cool! Do blog about #6; I want to hear all about it. And yet another yummy dinner. The cheesy rice stuff sounds wonderful.:)
Thank you, Snow. You can borrow it any time. And you should blog about #3, miss. Inquiring minds want to know. #5 -- although I'm way older than you, I always liked The Cure, too. Here's an ironic coincidence regarding your dinner last night -- I bought cheese bread (without pepperonis) today and I'm having it for dinner. I love that stuff!:)
Your definitions today are adorable, Kan. You know I'm gonna ask you about "the jest of it." Come on, if it's a sex thing, how could I not?:-)
1. Do you remember what you wore to your last prom? If so, describe it, please. Last Prom? How many do people go to? I didn't even attend one.
2. Would you rather drink beer or champagne? Yeah.
3. Did you ever sneak out of the house at night when you were a teenager? And be honest! Sneak? There was no need, especially since I was kicked out when I was 16. I still graduated.
4. What was the first car you bought? A Ford Torino, with a 351 Windsor small block V8.
5. What was your favorite song when you were 16? Not something that I remember off hand.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish. Sure, I think it was usually for fighting, but I did get caught once sitting in a car when I was supposed to be going to the library.
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it? No, but it was at my suggestion that our school had its first Science Fair.
8. In high school, were you the first or last to raise your hand in class? Close to first, when it wasn't first.

11. What did you have for dinner last night? sweet and sour soup
I somehow missed copying of the dinner question(11), answer is a potato and onion omelet sandwich.
I remember Ford Torinos, Charles. That's pretty cool that you got a Science Fair implemented at your school. I had to do a science project once (not for a fair), and it was just abysmal. I am no scientist. The black and silver comforter sounds nice. Re your dinner, I like omelets and I like potatoes, but I can't handle onions. Your definitions are great, and I love it that you added King Arthur to the mix. I like the bashful quadrupeds, too.:)
CD, that's a great story about your prom dress. Looking at some of today's promwear, it's astonishing that we got written up for skirts that were too short, no bra, jeans, etc. How times have changed. #3 -- no curfew?! Dang. If I'd had no curfew, I wouldn't have had to sneak out so much. LOL. Did you get a fortune cookie with your sweet & sour soup last night? Yum.:)
I'd rather be slapped and mangled, but here goes..
1..Prom? Never went!
2..Tattinger Rose' please

10..Bedspread??..Hahahaha
11..Tombstone frozen pizza!!
...What I don't do for you Sherry...xobgxo
I know, G; you're such a good sport to humor me the way you do, answering silly questions and playing with Memes. I think I've had Tattingers champagne. As I recall, it was pretty good. My Dad had a Chevy Bel-Air. I think it was a 50-something. Re #7 - no! You popped popcorn for the science of it? LOL. #10 - of course. Burly men have Army blankets, right? Pizza - yeah! My kind of dinner.:)
1. Do you remember what you wore to your last prom?
What's a prom?
2. Would you rather drink beer or champagne?
Beer. Preferably Guinness half-and half with strong cider. We called it a Jaffa Cake. One day I'll explain...
3. Did you ever sneak out of the house at night when you were a teenager? And be honest!
All the time. Now I do it for a living.
4. What was the first car you bought?
A mk. II Ford Cortina. I paid £75 ($150 in today's rates) and spent far too much time keeping it working.
5. What was your favorite song when you were 16?
Black Sabbath's 'Spiral Architect'. I thnk it still might be, although the Coral's 'Grey Harpoon' is catching up.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school?
Nope. Only idiots get caught.
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it?
No Science Fairs here.
8. In high school, were you the first or last to raise your hand in class?
Never volunteer! It's a bad thing. Always be ready to get picked on though.
9. At work, are you the first or last to volunteer for assignments?
See 8.
10. What color is your bedspread/comforter?
Blue. Or - it depends how long it's been there.
11. What did you have for dinner last night?
Rainbow trout stuffed with Feta cheese, herbs and grated carrot.
Sorry, there's none to spare. You'll have to catch your own.
I'll be interested in hearing more about Jaffa Cake, RC. Re #6 - ain't that the truth.:) #8 - I agree! Volunteering just leads to more trouble than it's worth sometimes. #10 - I like blue, provided it hasn't been there TOO long. LOL. #11 - I want your dinner. I swear I won't eat all of it.:-)
1. Do you remember what you wore to your last prom? If so, describe it, please.
Whatever it was, I've been told that I didn't have it on very long; which the police report allegedly confirms.
2. Would you rather drink beer or champagne?
That depends. Are we talkin' conventional drinking vessel, or something that a lady would wear?
3. Did you ever sneak out of the house at night when you were a teenager? And be honest!
I snuck out of quite a few houses. Still do. Only these days, I try to grab something easily pawnable.
4. What was the first car you bought?
One of those funky ones that float in water. Back then I had political aspirations, and wanted to avoid my own "Chappaquiddick".
5. What was your favorite song when you were 16?
Anything by Shari Lewis and Lambchop. I wanted something with a hint of female sexuality without getting too worked up.
6. Did you ever get suspended from school? And if you did, you can say why if you wish.
Suspended is a rather appropriate word in this case, as to my dismay, I found the suspended ceiling over the Girls Locker Room was not strong enough to contain my enrollment.
7. Did you ever build a Science Fair project? If so, what was it?
Let's just say that the Meth Lab plague originated from a very humble and innocent attempt at a "peppy" Saccharine substitute.
8. In high school, were you the first or last to raise your hand in class?
I was always the first to raise an objection to being there in the first place.
9. At work, are you the first or last to volunteer for assignments?
Last, if my boss is female. I imagine she wants to load up the "others" with work, so she and I are free to work on our own "offsite" project together.
10. What color is your bedspread/comforter?
I keep different ones to match the skin tone of my date. It's a classy extra touch.
11. What did you have for dinner last night?
Nothing. I was too nervous to eat, what with the American Idol finale and all.
Puggy, you are incorrigible. All of your troubles could have been avoided if only you'd had a proper slipper from which to sip champagne during American Idol.:-)
