The Friday Playpen

I didn't get a very ladylike result here, but I'm not going to quibble with it. Who doesn't love Jack Sparrow?

Which pirate are you?

You're Jack sparrow

Sparrow is pirate lord of the Caribbean Sea and can be treacherous, surviving mostly by using wit and negotiation rather than weapons and force although he will fight if necessary, he tries to flee most dangerous situations.

Your Noble British Name Is:

Lady Clarissa Julia Quaife

Your Hidden Talent

You are a great communicator. You have a real way with words.

You're never at a loss to explain what you mean or how you feel.

People find it easy to empathize with you, no matter what your situation.

When you're up, you make everyone happy. But when you're down, everyone suffers.

You Are a Red Crayon

Your world is colored with bright, vivid, wild colors.

You have a deep, complex personality - and you are always expressing something about yourself.

Bold and dominant, you are a natural leader. You have an energy that is intense... and sometimes overwhelming.

Your reaction to everything tends to be strong. You are the master of love-hate relationships.

Your color wheel opposite is green. Green people are way too mellow to understand what drives your energy.

My Noble British Name is Sir Humphrey Gervase Harmsworth. Ugh.

In the pirate world, I would be Elizabeth Swann. I would probably have some gender confusion issues with that, which I would resolve by killing anyone who laughs.

On to the words...

frankfuther - a distant hot dog.

Yahoom - the dative case of Yahoo.

crackpot writers - Bilbo, et. al.

makeup sex - the generally unrealized dream of men who have argued with their significant others.

bored vamp - the one lying in her coffin with a large stake through her heart.

aplease - the antecedent of athankyou.

gonig - going in reverse.

I eluded to that - I escaped.

vailid - the protective cover placed over snow at ski resorts.

the nuther world - where bad hillbillies goe when they die.

conveinient - describing a useful and available blood vessel.

Pennsylvanis - heck, I don't know, and I am one!

canidates - a good thing to have if you're out of jarifigs.

possition - the pose struck by a possum?

Have a good weekend!

I got rooked! It said I was a PITTSBURGH Pirate. Why do I even bother?

LOL, Bilbo. Or should I say Sir Humphrey? I don't know, I think Sir HGH has a noble ring to it. I apologize in advance for giggling uproariously about your Elizabth Swann gig. I was going for Elizabeth, but the quiz gods apparently deemed me not feminine enough. LOL. Excellent definitions today, sir! Nuther world tickled my funny bone. Have a great weekend.:-)

Hell's bells, Puggy, why do my quizzes always pick on you? I assure you it's not because I'm some Hell's belle. We don't care that your ship ran aground in Pittsburgh instead of Tortuga. We love you anyway and think you're a brave, brave pirate.:-)

Will Turner, who actually had it much better than Jack or Elizabeth. Except for the fact he ends up with gender confused Elizabeth. On second thought we should free very sorry for him.

Noble British name
Lady Daisy Genevieve Ternynck

My hidden talent
You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices.

I am a green crayon
Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors.
While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.
Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease.
You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!

Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.

I like Will almost as much as I like Jack, Roxan. I wouldn't kick either one overboard. I actually like your British nobility name. Cool! See, now we know these quizzes are crocks. Mine said red and green don't get along, and that just ain't true.:) Excellent definitions, BTW.

I don't think your name sounds like a poodle, Mona. Sounds rather upper crust British. I like your definitions, and I do know what Rakshosis are. I think I might be a little frightened of cannibal dates.:)

..Hi Sherry...;-)

Serena said...

Hi, Galen. Are you sure you went to the right site to fetch your noble name? That just doesn't sound right to me.:)

If I happen to stumble across some lost wench, I'll be sure and tell her to fetch you some grog. What IS grog? Do they still make it? Can you get it at Kroger?

G-Man said...

Yes you can Serena...
The Grog is in the same aisle as the Meade and Ale.
And you buy one, get one free this week with your Kroger card!!!

Serena said...

Oh, I get it, G. It's in the VIKING aisle. Do you suppose I could find one of those hats with horns there?:-)

Helllloooo Serena Darling!
Captain Jack Sparrow rocks. After my daughter saw Pirates, she wanted to change her name to Snickers Jack Sparrow. (with her real first name of course) ;)

And Woobie always makes me laugh because when you ask him what pirates say, he says "Arr, Makers!"

hehe!
Have a great weekend! :)

Serena said...

Will's pretty cute, though, CD, so it's all good.:)

LOL, Snow. Snickers has very good taste in pirates. You have a great weekend, too.:)

Sling said...

ARRGHH!..

You're William Turner.

Will is a competent swordsman, although he lacks combat experience compared to other duelists although mannered, Will is brave and is loyal to those he cares about and would risk everything to protect them. Will is clever, heroic, and courageous and never shirks responsibility.

It's uncannily accurate! ;)

nuther world- a whole nuther place.

Serena said...

I'll go see, Mona.:)

See, Sling? I knew SOME of these quizzes had to be accurate. Law of averages says so. And Will's a cutie, so you did good. About the swordplay, now -- that's a whole nuther story.:)

G-Man said...

She has great taste.
Her mind is keen..
She's always turned heads
She's very lean..

But in spite of her grace,
And her knowledge of shoes
She stumbles and trips,
and her ass turns blue!!

Be careful Sherry, it's an obstacle course out there...G

She has that wiggle
And even when she's fallen
The cup stays intact!

Now THAT is talent!

No, TALENT is writing a haiku about a klutz who takes a tumble but hangs onto the cup instead of her butt. Clearly, the klutz really loves her coffee. LOL.
