SJ's Saturday Jam

I think I'm in for a rainy, maybe a little wild and rocky, day. It's dark out, with intermittent thunderclaps. I'm going to clean up my living space (or at least give it a lick and a promise), listen to some music, and maybe read a little later on (I have a new Joy Fielding novel).

If you were so inclined, you could tell me what you're doing today. In fact, you could write some nice haiku on that very subject for me. Go for it!

Have a terrific Saturday, kids.

Cutting my own hair
One snip here. Razor slice there.
Only me to blame.

Dogs following me
Will I drop food on the floor?
Will I? Huh? Will I?

Oh, it's just not a Haiku day for me. I finished up two blog posts (for future enjoyment), perused a few blogs, drove the daughter to a friends, pick my nose, took a shower, repicked the nose to catch those hiding out during the first sweep, and now I'm contemplating a shower. Then...I'll finally go out.

Excellent haikus, CD. Just be careful with that razor. You know how much the Big B would love it if it slipped.:)

Good job, Sling! It's a perfect Saturday haiku.:)

Yes, I know you do, Galen. You're the unanointed King of Haiku. Put those pants on, though, okay? It's not THAT warm.:)

That's okay about the haiku, VE. I can see that you've been busy. After all that pickin', though, just remember to wash those hands before you go out.:)

Waiting for the sun
The weatherman said will be
Shining in the sky.

I will believe it
When I see the clouds are gone
And it is not cold.

But hark there it is
Sitting at the computer
I wonder, is it warm?

Cool haiku writing, Charles. I have no idea what Debian is, but I like saying it. It could even make me convert to Linux.:)

You're in true haiku form today, too, Mike. Hope your clouds are gone and warmth is on the way. It's pouring down rain here.:)

That's different, /t. but, you know, I kind of like it -- and not just because it's all mine. Thanks!:)
