Happy Easter

I've become accustomed to associating the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah with Christmas, but it was actually written to celebrate Easter. Personally, I think it's a beautiful piece of music to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Enjoy your Sunday and, if you celebrate Easter, have a happy one. And now, here's a little something for you from the Dark Silly Side.

That Peeps show was so wrong. Why didn't they stand upon a floor of graham crackers and have chocolate blood running down their faces before they were consumed? NOT consumed? That's so wrong. Even upon a pedestal of chocolate cup cakes could have been pleasant, and burnt ones can't be that much different than roasting marshmallows over a fire. So many children (even mature redheaded ones,) so few Peeps.

As I recall, Peeps are now made with gelatin. They used to be made of the mallow root, found primarily in marshes..

I stood up during that silent video anyway Sherry...G

I didn't know that the music was written for Easter and I don't celebrate Christmas, but I do hear the music everytime a woman gets undressed in front of me. Yes! Powerful and uplifting.

Happy Easter (belated)

LOL @ NYD's comment.

I don't remember seeing as many sites in past years - there sure were a plethora of them this year.

Happy Easter

You gotta do something about silent vid, Galen. Let's hope this is your lucky year for a new computer. I'd sure rather be Belle of the Ball than Belle of the Bawl. 3's pretty lucky; 7's luckier.:D

LOL, NYD. Under the circumstances, one would hope it would be uplifting.:D

Yeah, there were a lot of them, Mike. Happy Easter to you!:D
