I just stumbled upon this at stumbleupon.com. Thought you might get a chuckle.

Be on the lookout for terrorists with pinkeye and leprosy. Also, they tend to rub their hands together manically.

lol

Interesting, Jack.:D

are those sequins on your black sweater Serena?

You call that grilling 'not intense' ? ( rolls eyes)

PS> what is a 'jillion'?

Serena said...

Yes, those are assorted sequins and sparkly beads.

A jillion is a number falling somewhere between 1 and pi, most often contemplated in a somnambulistic state of mind.:)

It says Superman is my 67 % match,

Batman 65 % & hulk is 64 % :D

Those new glasses are cool Serena!

Serena said...

Hell if I know, Charles. It's not a full moon, it's not PMS -- so I have no explanation for why those questions popped into my head. Early onset dementia, perhaps?:-)

Superman might be a pretty cool date, Mona. It definitely wouldn't be a dull evening. Thanks about the glasses.:)

Spider-Man
65.8% Match
Spider-Man is perfect for you. He's totally nerdy and always cracking jokes. And cute! A date at the museum or a movie would be right up his alley. Don't expect to spend the whole evening together though, Spider-Man's known for ducking out early.
Other Close Matches:

Beast
Beast (65.2%)

Cable
Cable (65.2%)

hmmm..I have to find out who beast and cable are...(never heard of those guys)

~gag~ I answered YES to all your questions 'cept for the last one cuz we work together..so I don't have to think of him..he's right here...what can I say...I love the guy!

(b) No. We are both very head strong.

4. Are you and your lover so attuned that you can finish each other's thoughts/sentences?
(a) Yes
Comes from years of living together

5. How many times during the day do you think of your lover?
(b) A dozen times
Sometimes more. Sometimes less. Not a zillion. If he is fixing something special for dinner I fixate. Not a pretty thought. The way to my heart is through my stomach?

I got The Beast as my superhero. He looks like a dog. Never heard of him. It says bring a lint brush to our date. Story of my life.

Serena said...

Spidey's kinda cute, Leelee.:) I don't know who Beast and Cable are, either. Although, if Cable is Larry the Cable Guy, that IS the Beast. Oh, my -- careful there. Too many yesses can trigger one's gag reflex.:-)

#5 sure would work for me, CD. You and Mr. CD sound like a perfect match to me.:)

Serena said...

Oh, dear, CD. Beast looks like a dog? I guess I wouldn't mind spending the date brushing him as long as he's a CUTE dog.:D

My Super Hero Lover is
Black Canary 65.2% Match
Long legs, leather, and fishnet stockings. You are in for one night you will never forget. Just be careful not to show her too good of a time. If you make her scream, it'll knock your head off.

The other stuff I am abstaining from. That V-day is long past for now.

Charles said...

Beast is one of Marvel's X-Men, Cable is the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey, who are fellow X-Men, the three of them were part of the original X-Men who also included The Angel and The Iceman.

Yeah, I know, I'm a comic book nerd.

Serena said...

Black Canary, Kan? I've never heard of her. She sounds like a pretty interesting date, though. It's okay to abstain, babe. It is pretty icky-mushy, I'll grant you.:)

Thank you for the primer, Charles. I HAVE heard of X-Men.:)

P.S. to Leelee -- you can borrow the sweater any time.:)

Charles said...

Considering that they made a few movies of the X-Men, I would hope you'd heard of them. The movies were cool, but like most movies, the (comic) books are better. ;)

Comics have been the source of some of the most successful movies made. Let's see, Superman, Batman, The X-Men, The Road to Perdition, are a few. The Wachowski brothers of Matrix fame used to create comic books.

Serena said...

Shoot, I grew up on comic books, Charles, albeit admittedly not the X-Men. Certainly Superman, though, and a bunch of others. Remember Archie and Veronica, or was that before your time?:)

Ed & Jeanne said...

Sorry, I don't do mush...

I'm in San Diego right now anyway. Another vacation. Nice weather here, about 70. Cheers.

Serena said...

VE, I hate you. It barely got up to freezing here today and I've shivered miserably -- which is probably why my brain turned to mush. Okay, I don't hate you, provided you're in San Diego on business. Cheers.:-)

Charles said...

Certainly not. The Archie comics weren't really what I liked though, I liked the superhero comics, because they solved problems, and I (mis)learned some science as I read them. I thought the Archie comics were OK, but I didn't buy them, the humor was too juvenile. In fact I think that even Mona used to read Archie. They probably are still publishing it, I know I've seen Archie cartoons within the last couple of years.

My Super Hero match is 100% Underdog!!

I'm going on Vacation for 10 days Sherry, will you miss me?

See Ya...G
xoxox

Serena said...

Yeah, Charles, "Archie" was pretty juvenile. Of course, I was a juvenile at the time -- and a girl.:-) Are they really still publishing them? I had no idea.

Underdog, G? Good grief.:D Yes, I know you're off in the A.M. for 10 days. And sure I'll miss you.:-)

Mona said...

Hey! I know Archie humor is Juvenile .And although I collected about more than 300 Archie comics, I hardly read most of them.
Charles, you know very well I had an issue there! & that was just because when I was twelve, my elder bossy and controlling sister, never let me touch hers, since she thought that all the kissing & the " semi nude beach scenes" in them would " influence" me adversely. So later when I was able to afford them, I just bought them for the heck of it with a vengeance!

The only comic books I love are Asterix & calvin & hobbes.

Do you have Asterix in America Serena? They are CLASSY!

Mona said...

hehehe. Galen, you have gotto have a Super heroine match there! =)

Charles, Come on REVEAL who your super heroine is! I would love to know that secret! phhhuuulllleeeeaaassseeee!

NYD said...

Well, I believe that I will just plea the fifth on this one, SJ.

Life may not be perfect, but I don't want to rock the boat.

Charles said...

Perhaps, this answers the question.

Charles said...

Here's a surprisingly large number:
10 to the power of pi cubed = 10,145,575,341,375,117,714,930,863,505,056.
That's over 10 nonillion!

Serena said...

I know Calvin & Hobbes, Mona, but I'm not at all familiar with Asterix.:)

I know, NYD; rocking the boat ain't good. I'd do well to remember that myself sometimes.:)

Ack! I can't even process that number, Charles.:)

1. The answer to that one is (a); since I last saw her 26 years ago, the answers to 2-5 are most likely (c).

Dating a super heroine? Not something I much imagined, since I was always averse to dating any woman who could body slam me. But curiosity won out, and my test results are:

Best match: Kitty Pryde (?)
Runner up: Arana (??)
2nd Runner up: Lois Lane (???!!?)

Never heard of the first two, but wager they could body slam me. LOIS LANE? Who is this test KIDDING? I don't fly, leap tall buildings in single bounds, or wear Clark Kent glasses. Nor do I wanna go mano a mano with her boyfriend in blue/red.

Oh well...bachelorhood ain't a total loss...

Serena said...

LOL, Skunkfeathers. I don't think I'd want to go out with Miss Lane, either.:)
