1. How long have you been blogging? Since the evening of Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
2. Do you reply to your blog comments? Yes.

3. Is the writers' strike (and resultant reruns) beginning to annoy you? Every year now there seems to be a new excuse to start reruns earlier, so yes.

4. Are you going to bake holiday cookies? You said there are impertient questions.

5. Do you love or hate office parties? Parties are fun, parties with bosses can be disastrous.

6. What's your favorite brand of coffee? Before roasting, and until preparation, nature's ambrosia isn't branded. Maxwell House French Roast is what I usually buy.

7. If you were lost in the wilderness, would you rather have in your possession 12 chocolate bars or a quart of water? Water is safer, you can survive three to four weeks without food, maybe seven days without water. Bears don't likely chase the smell of water, but chocolate may be a different matter.

8. If you had to give up either your computer or your cell phone, which would it be? I hardly use my phone, and am on the computer all the time. Cell phones pretty much all contain computers, so you've offered a dilemma. You're doing that impertinent thing again.

cerial - The weekly adventures of Capt'n Crunch.
unque idea - concept of getting out of line.
closeby - animatronic toy that shuts down when asked questions.
segway into - ingress via an overpriced self balancing two wheeled vehicle made for the laziest of the wealthy.

Heh. You started a month before I did, Charles. #3 is so true. Doesn't that just aggravate the crap out of you? It sure does me. Re #4, are you being impertinent and refusing to answer the question because ... you don't want to share the cookies?:) I'd go with your #7. You're still thinking about #8, aren't you?:-) I'm LMAO at your definitions.

***What The Holidays Mean to You***

For you, the holidays are about emotional connections and bonds. You are happiest being around those you love.

You celebrate the holidays in a natural style. Homemade gifts are your favorite, and you can't stand imitation Christmas trees or wreaths

During the holidays, you feel magical. You love all of the decorations and how happy people are. You like to sit back and take it all in.

You think the holidays should be decadent and indulgent. You never mind gaining a few holiday pounds... it's worth it!

Your best holiday memories are of childhood foods and traditions. You secretly still wish you believed in Santa Claus.

roxan..you need a cell phone.
I don't use them much so my wife and I have pay as you go T-mobile phones to carry with us in the car.
They are wonderful to have in case you break down or have an emergency.
For the first 100 minutes you need to renew every month but after that they last a year.
No credit cards or monthly fees.
A $50 card will get you 400 minutes.

#7 makes sense to me, VE. As does #8 -- which is pretty much what I was going for. We could ditch our cells and do everything we do with them -- and more -- on our computers. Easy choice when you get right down to it.:)

Thank you, Mona. The buttons on that sweater actually are black; wonky lighting makes them look lighter. I like your enthusiastic answer to #2, which I already knew you do. I'd never fail to acknowledge comments and don't really get people who don't do it. Re #3, TV writers here in the US are on strike, which means we're getting lots of reruns on TV. It's okay for the most part, but late-night reruns (like Jay Leno) are making me bonkers. #6, you don't drink coffee? I like tea, but I love my coffee, too. #8, cell phone getting to you? They do that sometimes -- and really make you want to fling them.:)

Roxan, I think your quiz results came out pretty accurate. Re #4, I know for a fact that you're going to be baking. I wish I could make half the stuff you do. I'm a total Kitchen Klutz.:)

TC, I wholeheartedly concur with you on #2. That IS what makes it fun. #5, I've always hated office parties. Re #6, I don't like fancy coffee, either, and I hate flavored coffees. #7 -- Yes. Yes, I did already know. LOL. # 8, agreed. Yep, that's it, and yep, you sure were on a roll. See how easy that was today?:-)

2)Sometimes, not always.

3)Seeing as I watch no network programs, I am unaffected by the strike.

4) Personally, I don't bake - but my wife will be baking them - and slapping my wrist when I snitch some of the dough.

5)Hate office parties that are held at the office. - - Love parties held offsite with music (DJ or band) and a decent meal.

6) Maxwell House - instant. That's right, instant. Because of hustle and bustle over the years have grown to prefer instant over brewed. I never have coffee from coffee houses.

7) Water!

8) Bye, bye, Cellphone!

1. How long have you been blogging?

No idea. I'd have to look it up.

2. Do you reply to your blog comments?

Yes - but I'm not in every day so sometimes it takes a while.

3. Is the writers' strike (and resultant reruns) beginning to annoy you?

Rarely watch TV, and when I do I'm looking for reruns anyway.

4. Are you going to bake holiday cookies?

Nope. I'll just buy some.

5. Do you love or hate office parties?

I used to hate them, but now I work alone the party consists of just me. And I don't always turn up.

6. What's your favorite brand of coffee?

Espresso. Double. I've been told that if I drink too many I'll move faster than light and consequently shoot backwards in time. I'm still trying.

7. If you were lost in the wilderness, would you rather have in your possession 12 chocolate bars or a quart of water?

Can't I have six bars and one pint? It depends on the wilderness - if it's a rainforest I'll take the chocolate. If it's a desert I'll take the water.

8. If you had to give up either your computer or your cell phone, which would it be?

Cell phone without a doubt. If ever the Devil can be truly credited with inventing something, the cellphone is it.

Hellooooo Sj! :) Happy Friday to you!!

1. How long have you been blogging?

Almost a year and a half now. (april 2006)

2. Do you reply to your blog comments?

I love to and I do 98% of the time. I love to converse with my reader-friends.

3. Is the writers' strike (and resultant reruns) beginning to annoy you?

Not yet because I appreciate writers and if I get bored I have a plethora of amazing writers at the tap of my keyboard. I don't really watch very much prime time TV.

4. Are you going to bake holiday cookies?

Not unless I want to burn down my apartment. Just kidding--maybe--but I doubt it.

5. Do you love or hate office parties?

I LOVE them. I wish I had an office so I could go to an office party. Any time I can get all dolled up I am all for it. :)

6. What's your favorite brand of coffee?

Anything vanilla cappuccino--I;m not really picky.

7. If you were lost in the wilderness, would you rather have in your possession 12 chocolate bars or a quart of water?

The water. I will gorge myself on chocolate when I get home. :)

8. If you had to give up either your computer or your cell phone, which would it be?

Ack! Seriously!? I guess my computer...but...but....I'd have to get all my blogger friends phone numbers first so I could text blog. ;)

Happy Friday, Miss Snow!

I appreciate my fellow writers, too, but I'm really hating going to sleep to Jay Leno shows from 1992. Ugh! #4 -- that's why I'm not baking, too. I've gone through too many smoke detectors.:) #7 -- absolutely! #8 is one tough choice, huh?:)
