The Thursday Q & A

Make your own clipart like this @ www.TXT2PIC.com
1. If you were going to change your hair color, to what color would you change it?

2. Because I forgot to do Dress-up on Monday, please tell me what you're wearing today.

3. If you're eating pumpkin pie today, will you have it plain, with whipped cream, or à la mode?

4. Life without a few vices is no fun. What do you consider to be your biggest vice?

5. What will your next pet be? And,

6. What will you name it?

7. If you had the means to live anywhere in the world other than where you now live, where would it be?

And ... because I also forgot to hit you up for poetry on Tuesday, please give me a haiku today on the subject of -- Serena Is An Airhead.

**Questions for Miss's Mailbox need to be in by tonight.

Let's talk some more about airheads. Please! TWISTED LINGUISTICS gives you Words Gone Wild today direct (and solely) from the keyboard of the Queen of the Airheads. Yes, it's that ... "editor" person.

crituque - Sounds like something Klatu might say.

my lengthly career - The period during which she's been long and tall.

half hazardly - It's living a little dangerously, but not that much.

preceived - Before the child was a glint in his mama's eye.

experiened - From around that time, there is nothing.

exerpt - A half-suppressed burp.

These "editorial" witticisms, I can make neither heads nor tails of. How about you?

You Are Easter

You are an optimistic, hopeful, and genuinely sweet person.
Sensitive and affectionate, you are easily touched.
You love nature, animals, and anything cute or cuddly.
For you, every day is a new chance - no matter what happened yesterday.

What makes you celebrate: Almost anything. You love most holidays and celebrations.

At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The peacemaker. You can prevent any squabbles that might break out.

On a holiday, you're the one most likely to: Remember to include everyone

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

***You Are Thanksgiving***

You are a bit of a homebody who enjoys being in the company of people you love.
It doesn't take a lot to make you happy. You're enjoying life as it is.
You have many blessings in your life, and you are grateful for each one.
You believe that life is about what you *do* have. You feel like you have enough of the good stuff.

What makes you celebrate: Family, friends, and the changing of the seasons.

At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The host of the party

On a holiday, you're the one most likely to: Spend so much energy preparing that it's a full time job

I resisted for two months, but caved in once again.

Happy Thanksgiving Serena!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Rick.:)

So, Trée, how'd that pie turn out? Did you need the ice cream? #4 -- come now, you can tell ME.:) #7 sounds like heaven.:-)

Wow, Roxan, you hit the Thanksgiving jackpot today. Happy Thanksgiving!:)

TC as a blonde. Hmmmm. TC! #2?! I absolutely, positively demand a picture.:-) #7 sounds like a good place to live. Happy Thanksgiving, Top Cat.:)

Roxan, I love your "rapid dog" definition. LOL! I've heard you answer auburn to #1 before; therefore, you're simply going to have to try it some day.:)

Your definition made me laugh, Sling. And I love your haiku. Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Dan! Welcome back to Blogging Madness! And Happy Thanksgiving to you.:)

SJ,
Happy Thanksgiving.

1. If you were going to change your hair color, to what color would you change it? The original low salt color.

2. Because I forgot to do Dress-up on Monday, please tell me what you're wearing today. Green T and grey shorts, green boxers.

3. If you're eating pumpkin pie today, will you have it plain, with whipped cream, or à la mode? Plain.

4. Life without a few vices is no fun. What do you consider to be your biggest vice? Uh, probably blogging.

5. What will your next pet be? And,
Air.
6. What will you name it? Airy.

7. If you had the means to live anywhere in the world other than where you now live, where would it be? Either the woods, or the desert.

And ... because I also forgot to hit you up for poetry on Tuesday, please give me a haiku today on the subject of -- Serena Is An Airhead.

I don't think she is,
That, that she asks us to write,
Serena Joy the Airhead.

Sounds like a colorful outfit you had on today, Charles. #4 -- if blogging is a vice, we are all doomed. LOL. #5 (and 6) -- are you talking about those air-fern things? As pets? Hmmm. Love your haiku, and the definitions rock. I particularly like your take on the "rapid dog," but I gotta ask, what the heck is a man-whore?:-) Happy Thanksgiving!

Trée said...

Pie was perfect. Didn't need a thing. :-)

Serena said...

Ahhhhhhh. Nothing like a simple thing that needs no embellishment.:)

Charles said...

You don't know what a man-whore is? Look around, most common slang for them these days would be 'dog,' a more conventional name might be 'philanderer.'

1) A random swatch of blood red at the top. That would get me noticed!

2) No, because it would turn you on. And I don't mean to turn you on.

3) I like it raw on the half-shell. And after yesterday's over-indulgences, I could use the fibre.

4) All time? Spiro T. Agnew. I loved that he wasn't just "Spiro Agnew", just like the captain of the USS Enterprise wasn't simply "James Kirk".

5) What ever the cat drags in.

6) "Look at what the cat dragged in".

7) The top of the world, which will finally validate my obsession with that Carpenters tune.

1. If you were going to change your hair color, to what color would you change it?
I've always wanted all white hair. Not grey, but white, with maybe some silver in it.

2. Because I forgot to do Dress-up on Monday, please tell me what you're wearing today.
I'll tell you what I was wearing Thursday: A floor-length vintage Dalton knit skirt in a silver and white chevron pattern, a fitted black button-vee sweater and knee-high black boots, as well as a woven sterling silver necklace.

3. If you're eating pumpkin pie today, will you have it plain, with whipped cream, or à la mode?
Ate six slices of fou (all homemade) pies, all with real whip cream (not that fake stuff):
Dark chocolate pecan
Organic pumpkin
Apple with cheese baked into the crust
Nutmeg pear with buttercrisp crumble top (S made that one)

4. Life without a few vices is no fun. What do you consider to be your biggest vice?
Negative self-scrutiny, though I don't think it's any fun.

5. What will your next pet be?
I don't choose pets; they choose me.

6. What will you name it?
I won't know 'til it tells me.

7. If you had the means to live anywhere in the world other than where you now live, where would it be?
Toronto.

Serena said...

I'm sure it would look absolutely ethereal on you, Camille, but I can't picture you with white hair. Re #3, you ate one (and more) of each?! Oh, my goodness. I don't know where you put all that. #4 is never any fun, which is why I don't do it so much any more.:)

AND of course I meant FOUR pies. Not fou.
