Today's TWISTED LINGUISTICS come from one of the looniest damn boards on the Web. Lord, have mercy.
guys perfer a woman - Guys shouldn't do that kind of stuff to women.
pyschiatrist - Doctor who specializes in analyzing fire-starters.
apprecitate - Cogitating on whether something makes you happy or not.
anit-climatic - An orgasmic louse egg.
estatic - The stuff that shocks you when you touch your computer screen.
And to add insult to injury, this mess came from that one and only "editor" person.
assanine - Describes a derriere after application of a Cat o'nine tails.
I saw her and it was not a pretty site - One mustn't confuse one's visage with one's Web presence.
scrumptous - Less than delectable.

Ahhhh, now the truth comes out. It was /t. who had all the trick-or-treaters. Re #6, don't you have heat in your house? LOL.
Ah, but CD, you at least know the difference. The source from which that came has no clue. I'd like to convert my fireplace to gas -- and open up the two that are walled up. Hey, babe, speaking of calm before the storm, did you get rocked by that earthquake the other night?
Thank you so much, Mona. That's so sweet of you to say.:)
Boy, Kan, ain't #2 the truth? Same here. #3 is absolutely true for me, too. You'd think I'd have learned by now to NEVER get complacent. LOL at your #4. Shiny, sharp knives are pretty.:-)
Yes, hiding the remains of trick or treaters is more difficult these days. But, they do make lovely wind chimes.

Good Lord, VE, you had a whole horde! #5 does have that effect, doesn't it?:-)

7)I have a free-standing woode stove, with a blower and a glass door.

Very revealing post Sherry.....xoxbgxoxox
I don't know, Greeny. I was thinking I might be a bit on the neurotic side for slipping into complacency every now and then. Edgy rocks. "Yay, another edgy female," said Thelma to Louise.:) With me, when I'm experiencing extreme tension, a good cry is the only thing that will help.
You had about 3 more than I did, Galen. And I was very surprised to get that many. It was more than last year. #3 is fixable, and #4 is the thing to fix it. #6 -- me, too, and the time has arrived.
