Serena's Twisted Chapel

Good Sunday morning to you, friends. Once again, it's Sunday morning. Oddly enough, it comes around once a week, regular as clockwork. Guess who's in the pulpit this morning? Yeah, boy, it's the one, the only ... Rev. Bob. Again. Listen up, but keep your wallet in your pocket.

Go now and have yourselves a fine Sunday. Maybe you should go out and spend a little of your own green. Have fun, kids!

I remember the ghost story/joke everyone told when I was little, about the series of kids who went into the room where the hautedy voice quavered: "I'm the ghost of Mary Mable, put your money on the table!"

And each kid in turn would place his/her money on the table and run out screaming, until one brave little tyke says, "Well I'm the ghost of Davey Crockett! I keeps my money in my POCKET!" and runs out, thereby defeating the ghost.

Though I never understood it as a story (or for that matter, a joke), I remembered it all the years, clear as anything. It was more urban schoolyard performance art, I suppose.

Sunday is long gone here. I spent my Sunday afternoon watching the Phillip Island (Victoria, Australia) motor cycle championships...Aussie Casey Stoner won...it was very exciting! I take my hat off to those guys.

Stick to your guns, Scary, and do not give him that for which he has a yen.:-)

Sounds like you enjoyed your Sunday, Lee. Good for you!:)
