Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Happy...
Time keeps flying by and it's anybody's guess whether one is getting anywhere. At least it's cool, thank God. This taste of Autumn won't last, but it's nice while it does.
Yes, that teasing taste of Autumn was utterly delicious. I went to get the mail today and it was back to hot and humid. Oh, well. C'est la vie, right? Happy Hump Day, SJ!!! xo
I'll take the doughnuts, Mr. G-man -- especially if they're hot Krispy Kremes. You can keep the cider.:)
I'm thinking this could get you to the Homecoming dance, Pugsley.;)
It's still utterly delightful here, Marion. Sorry you're back to the miserable heat/humidity but, take heart, autumn will set in for good in due time. Happy Hump Day! xo
55 degrees and wet here Wednesday. Drier and warmer, but only 66 degrees today. Love the break in the heat. And love that autumn and snow will soon be here (only during a drought can winter be truly appreciated LOL).
Wow, Skunk, it's a lot cooler where you are. It's been running 70-75 here, with low humidity. I'm not looking forward to snow but, you're right, drought relief is welcome in any form.:)

The taste of Autumn that I enjoy the most involves Cider and Doughnuts!!!
Allow me to introduce my autumn tradition of taking a favorite redhead behind the football bleachers, to see if I can get anywhere.
