Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Enjoy!
After several days of very pleasant temperatures, it's heating up again. Yuck!
Whatever it's doing where you are, enjoy your Hump Day!
How timely! By sheer coincidence, I just happened to be RIDING a camel looking for peyote. But then it dawned on me: if I'm already having the time of my life riding a camel, do I really NEED the peyote? Then I started to correlate my current activity to my seemingly eternal search for the perfect redhead: is she the peyote or the camel? Maybe it's the journey rather than the quest.
Well, dear pup, I guess I have only one piece of advice -- make sure the camel's not chewing peyote. Otherwise, there'll be no journey to anywhere you want to go.;)
P.S. - I've always been an "it's the journey, not the quest" kind of girl.
LOL, Skunk. Sounds like you cook about like I do. And I for darn sure ain't putting in the effort of -- ugh! -- cooking for some stupid camel. Dumb thing would probably rather eat my hair, anyway.;)
It's the opposite here, Lee; Fall will be starting soon. We've had a little bit of rain relief lately, but it's still very dry and we need a lot more. Hope you get some rain soon!

Is that Camel wearing Oxfords?
It's a fantasy camel, Mr. G-man. It's wearing whatever you want it to wear.:-)

Would I wok a mile for a camel? Hell no: like anything else I attempt to cook, I'd catch the mile on fire, and the camel would refuse to eat it.

Spring has started early here..and it's so very dry at the moment. I wish we'd get some rain.
