Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

The Week's Best E-Mail
I lived through the full moon. Maybe just barely, but I'm not finding any blood, bruises, or broken bones -- on me or the people whose mission in life it is to drive me nuts. I am still on a Blues kick, but I'm crowing as loud as I can that I beat the bad old moon and made it to ... Hump Day. Have a happy one!

I had one of those, too, Roxan. Had to keep that one around for a good number of years before he flew the nest. Now, Mama's flown.:-)
