Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

In Remembrance
08/13/1966-12/24/2008
In remembrance of Suzanne Horne, better known as our friend and fellow blogger, Liquid Illusion
Okay, so maybe I wasn't the last blogger in the known universe to learn about this. But it was like being hit in the gut with a bag full of quarters when I heard.
Aram se Suzanne. I didn't know you for long, or even so well. But I'll miss you all the same.
She will indeed be missed, Galen. You have a happy New Year, too, hon.xox
Me, too, Mike. Stunned and shocked because, I guess, it was so unexpected. It's hard to believe someone so young and vibrant is gone. I wish you and your family a happy New Year as well.
I didn't learn of it until yesterday, Mojo. And it did feel like a punch to the gut. I think I'd known her for about a year, and I will miss her.
I didn't know of her until I read Mike's (Hale) post eulogizing her. But I agree...done too soon. Condolences to those of you who were blessed with her friendship, and God Speed to Suzanne.
I am saddened to hear that we lost her. She visiting my blog and I visited hers. I can't say that I really knew her but I sure wish all this blog friend-power could have helped in some way. You are right, I've seen many post memorials dedicated to her.
Yes, much too young, /t. I wish you all the best in 2009.
Skunky, I think that I will try henceforth to be more cognizant of potential warning signs.
I know, VE. It's just sad that as many friends as she had, this couldn't have been prevented. Perhaps she didn't realize how many friends she had who truly valued her. Oh, and thanks again for my gnomes.
Thank you, WIXY. You know, I can't help but wonder whether, if she had only known how many friends she had, this could have been prevented. Such a sad thing.

I was stunned when I learned of Suzanne's passing. There have been many, many posts in her memory. She had a lot of friends.
She was born about 3 months after i graduated from high school - so young.
A Happy New Year to you and your family, SJ.

She will be missed sorely. It is a very sad news. may she rest in Peace.
I had to come visit, as I can't resist a good looking redhead.
One thing that Suzanne would have liked about her passing is how we have all got together to memorialize her.
She was one who always gave out liberal doses of love to anyone who visited her blog.
I hope so, Mona.
