The TGIF Playpen

Happy Friday, folks. And -- TGIF! I swear I didn't think I was going to make it out of this week alive. I have got to do something nice for myself early into the new year. If I wanted high stress and uphill battles, I'd have joined the Army. I could at least have gotten combat pay.

You Are Generous and Loving

You approach the holidays in a warm, caring fashion.

You make sure everyone is taken care of, and you connect with all the people you know.

You think the holidays are all about personal relationships, and you enjoy making the people you love smile.

You'll go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy.

Of all the types, you are the most likely to have the most types of wrapping paper.

You're also the most likely to include a homemade gift - even if it's just cookies or a funny card.

You Can Say "Merry Christmas" in 11 Languages

You can say "Merry Christmas" in:

English
Spanish
Japanese
French
Arabic
German
Swedish
Hawaiian
Dutch
Korean
Esperanto

You Are Hot Chocolate

Your holiday personality is generous.

The holidays are your favorite time to practice the art of giving.

You enjoy picking out presents, sharing treats, and making everyone's day a little brighter.

And you don't even notice if you don't get anything in return.

Serena, it seems you could do with a holiday...

I hope you feel better soon!

At first I was going to seize on your "joining the Army" remark. We could be the next Bill Murray / Harold Ramis. Anything so we get to share a bunk when no one's looking (like they do in the real Army), I suppose.

But then I noticed that you are "Hot Chocolate". So my mind wandered to the image of you in tight spandex, halter-top and afro-wig a la Pam Grier. So maybe we need to costar in a "Blacksploitation" flick together, complete with gratuitous nudity and violence.

I could, indeed, do with a holiday, Mona. A whole bunch of them, all in a row. I definitely do feel better today since I'm not working.:)

I wouldn't mind being a movie star, Pugsley, but geez, Pam Grier? I'm not sure how I'd pull that off since my winter coloring is fish-belly white. Besides, if Pam got a glimpse of me in spandex, she'd die laughing and then her relatives would sue me.:)

LOL...I can say Merry Christmas in Christmas language...Merry Christmas ;)

May the rest of your year be a much brighter lead-in to 2009, Serena ;)

That's the most important language, Skunk. LOL. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy '09, too.

Esperanto?
hahahaha...I thought they killed that project!!
Halter top and spandex? Hot Chocolate?
Wow...:-)

I know there's some "universal" language, Galen, but I'm not sure it's Esperanto. Maybe they did kill that one off. And maybe they'd kill me off if I showed my face in spandex and halters. And rightfully so! I did have some hot chocolate tonight, which was yummy.:)
