SJ's Friday Playpen

I absolutely mean it this week when I say -- TGIF!! You would not believe the week I've had. I hate whining, and it would be pointless anyway, so I won't bore you with the details. Suffice it to say it's over now, and I survived it. That's what counts.

So, let's let our hair down and do some of our regular Friday silliness.

Did you know that your attitudes about driving say a lot about you? I didn't. And truth be told, I still don't. I agree with a couple of points in my results, but not all of them! See how you do.

What Your Driving Says About You

You are generally an easy going, laid back person. However, you can't help but feel a little jealous and competitive sometimes!

You tend to go by what you feel - not by the facts at hand. As a result, you tend to make a lot of uninformed decisions.

You are a very fair person. You treat everyone equally, even when it's difficult to do.

You are an extremely tense, volatile person. Your reactions tend to be over the top.

You have mixed feelings about authority figures. You understand their place, but you believe their power needs to be in check.

You are focused and alert. You make sure that you are doing the right thing at all times.

You are a very responsible and conscientious person. You often consider the feelings and needs of others.

Your ego is a healthy size. You don't think you're more important than anyone else.

I don't agree with much of this one, either -- and I never, ever use Impact. What the hell, though; it's just for fun. Try it.

You Are Impact

You are very unique and quite striking. You are forceful and aggressive.

You never go unnoticed, and people recognize your power instantly.

While you make your presence known, your message is a bit fuzzy.

You are not the easiest person to understand, and you're not one for details.

You know, I always guage people by how they treat waiters and waitresses. People that are rude to them or not polite are probably just into themselves anyway.

My Driving Test results confirmed that I both love sidewalks and loathe pedestrians, which means this is the most accurate test so far.

Serena said...

That's very true, VE, and I do make an effort to treat them well. In fact, I even tip rude waiters and waitresses.:)

Oh, I know, Mona, that moon is coming. There's no getting away from it. Let's hope it doesn't do too much damage. Thanks about the top. I love pale sea greens, too. Your new saris sound pretty.:)

Thank goodness you passed the test, Puggy -- as long as this doesn't mean you're driving on the sidewalk and mowing down pedestrians.:)

You are high strung and easily worked up. You have a heck of a temper, and you're ready to fight anyone who ticks you off!

You are always increasing your awareness of the world around you. You are a life long learner.

You are a very fair person. You treat everyone equally, even when it's difficult to do.

You are a calm, peaceful person. You realize that arguments are only temporary, and you try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

You have mixed feelings about authority figures. You understand their place, but you believe their power needs to be in check.

You are focused and alert. You make sure that you are doing the right thing at all times.

You don't feel a responsibility to anyone but yourself. You value your freedom more than anything else.

Your ego is normally in check, but sometimes you get a bit egotistical. You tend to be a little self-important at times.

You Are Palatino
You consider yourself to be creative and artistic.
And you'd like everyone else to know it!

You take design and aesthetics seriously.
You like everything in your life to be unique and beautiful - but never gaudy!

anaphalactic shock-A severe itchy allergic reaction to a substance where you don’t want to admit you had a severe itchy allergic reaction.

Seriously tomato? Not a vegetable!!

Serena said...

And a TGIF and Happy Weekend to you, /t.:)

LOL, Roxan. I know tomatoes are technically fruits, but to me they've always been vegetables because they aren't sweet.

Good definition of that "word.":)

Your week sounds a lot like the one I eked through.

In that IF quiz I couldn't avoid picking zucchini (vegetable) and banana (fruit) - - - maybe I could've had a part in the refrigerator scene in "9 1/2 Weeks."

With my mind on the same wave length:

anaphalactic - The reaction had by Anna at the shortcomings of the King of Siam when he dropped his trousers.

You look great in green. You have that red head thing going for you. Your house must be a mansion. I see all these photos of all these rooms and I can never piece anything together.

Serena said...

Thanks, CD, but I definitely don't live in a mansion. That picture was taken in my office.:)
