My down time has come to an end and I am, alas, back in the real world. I'm not really in the mood to work today, but I must. My bills don't pay themselves, after all. Wouldn't it be terrific if they did? But we're talking real world, and that doesn't happen.

Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

I'm so sorry to hear about your work necessity dilema. I'm still on global holidays. I did go in to collect my annual bonus check. It was the least I could do and so I did the least....

Someday, Galen, the god of Thunder willing, you will have a sound card. Meanwhile, yes, I'm back. And I know it's for real because I pinched myself and it hurt. I am an idiot. For real. Vacation world is LOADS better than the real world, you got that right. All I can do now is muddle my way through work 'til my next vacation.:-)
Puggy, how about I trade you my bills for yours? Then you can properly train mine before you send them back home. I don't want any of those pesky bank calls, though, so do keep that in mind during training.:-)
Since I have all the budgetary restraint of a flash flood, work is one of those necessary evils...daggnabit. I'm coming back in my next life as a greedy, mean-spirited rich person, so I can find out how to make every day a weekend ;)
