Bring Me the Groundhog!

*$&^% Punxsutawney Phil saw his ^#*$% shadow, which means there are *&$%*&$% six more *$#% weeks of Winter left. Stupid &*$^% rodent. Are groundhogs rodents? If they aren't, they oughta be. I'm thinking of grabbing a bigger gun than that runt's and going hunting. Six more weeks. Aaiiiieeeeeeee! Somebody bring him to me -- along with a carrot and a potato and an onion.

Sorry, Charles, you missed supper. It was a damn fine varmint stew, too.:)

Hell, VE, tell me. I could use a vicarious thrill.:)

Yep, Galen, that pretty much sums up what I was thinking about Mr. Groundhog. And now I'm thinking a few more scrambled words. Wanna guess?:)

damn that one-step-ahead charles!

HAPPY WEEKEND SERENA JOY!

(oh, and it was only the american critter calling for six more weeks of winter -- both canadian critters said our winter is done)

There are leftovers, /t., if you'd like to try my rodent stew. Happy Weekend to YOU, and thank you again for my lovely picture.

P.S. - Do you think you could send your Canadian critter south so we could try again?:)

LOL, Snow. Now I'm thinking of Meat Loaf.:)

Look out, /t. -- mass exodus to Canada in progress due to your better class of weather-predicting rodents.:-)

Oh my, it looks like we copied parts of our posts for Feb. 2 of of each other!
I had had similar thoughts and had some action of my own to take out on the measly varmit in Groundblog Day.

The New York version of the rodent did NOT see his shadow. A conspiracy? They trying to rile up the country for the Giants in the Superbowl tomorrow? Well, the Patriots will fix them with the gun of Brady's arm!

Another fine example of great minds thinking alike, Mike.:-)

Mike...
You know of course where Mr Brady graduated from??
MICHIGAN!!!
Go Pats....

er sorry Sherry, I know how much you LOVE sports!

hahahahaha. Weird days when Canadian winters end before the Americans.

Keep up Yanks ;)

Here in London, we don't watch the rats. I think they have some druids dance naked at Stonehenge. If they freeze their bits off, its gonna be cold for awhile yet.

Stupid groundhog. Why is it when the weather acts up people start talking "end of days"? Stupid people. LOL
Someone at the store mentioned that this is like the winters we saw as a kid.

Meatloaf did a song on Rodent Stew?

I'm no longer worried, Mike. It seems that Gen. Beauregard Lee, the brilliant and adorable Georgia rodent, says spring will pop early. Yay!!

You've got me pegged, Galen -- I'm a sports-free zone. I AM, however, quite confident of a Pats win today.

I think I'd much prefer the Stonehenge method of weather predicting, Pinks. Depending, of course, on which Druids are dancing.:)

It's human nature, Roxan. Sort of like Chicken Little and Henny Penny. I'm stating for the record, however, that winters are NOT like they were when I was a kid. They were MUCH worse then. If this is The End, bring it on.:)

LOL, Charles. The ML reference was to a ML song with the line, "You took the words right out of my mouth, must have been when you were kissing me." Now I'm thinking up a recipe for rodent meatloaf.:)
