Peep-Eye

I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow because it's time to get some new glasses. I'm really tired of my old ones and ready for a whole new look. I'm leaning strongly toward this style of frames.

What do you think? Good look for moi, or not?

It's godawful cold here today, with another winter storm possibly en route. I'm not really in the mood to write much, so I think I'll just let y'all play with a few Words Gone Wild. Define or otherwise defile them as you will.

Today is Poetic Tuesday, which means all good readers will pimp me some verses. What I'd like from you today is limericks on the topic of "girls who wear glasses." I can't wait to see what y'all come up with.

When I recently got my new peepers
They said it so altered my features
That though it made me look intelligent
Yet hid my eyes and their sentiment
And made people think I looked less deeper

That is the IN thing Serena. I got similar Vogues for myself recently & they are light and comfortable and really look chic. Go for them! :)

she left in a snitch- dating one of Dr Seuss' Sneeches

impliment- implying which tool to use

made out of the same mole- time to see a doctor

innergize- the act of upgrading to Energizer batteries.

(conditioner

cleansing proprieties

a condition containing patent soap

the best way to tell if the new eyeglass style is really right for you, serena, is to model them -- post the picture here -- and remember to not clutter your photo with extraneous detail, such as a too busy background, clothing, and etc...

Ah, new peepers, they make reading so much nicer.

Girls who wear glasses,
When you throw your improper passes,
Will knock you on your asses.

(conditioner which features) cleansing proprieties - a person who properly cleans.
she left in a snitch - She was canabalized by a police informant.
impliment - a small demonic citrus fruit used as a Microsoft icon on their NT products in response to Apple's trademark.
made out of the same mole - two mountains of rodent crap.
innergize - applying a measured amount of energy from a hotel.

Thanks for the heads up, Mona. I like the Vogues, and also some Ray-Bans I saw. One of the two is what I'll go with. And thanks for the limerick. Cute!:)

Kan! Cute definitions today, dude. Thanks.:-)

Love your "cleansing" definition, /t. When I get my new specs, I promise to post a pic sans a busy background.:-)

Good limerick, Charles. And rockin' definitions! I'm particularly enamored of "snitch," "impliment," and "mole."

You know what? If I ever get tired of writing blog posts, I can do a whole new "Definitions" blog. You guys have "defined" a hell of a lot of words for me.:-)

Great choice, I LIKE!

Girls who wear glasses have great looking asses
never made out of the same mole
because their goal
is to inner-gise their soul
with cleansing thoughts
so you just gots
to love the girls in glasses!

heehee....I quack myself up!

I don’t care if a girl wears glasses
As long as they have really nice asses
One that really outclasses
The rest of the ugly butt masses
I want one of those lasses
With the figure like one of those hourglasses
And a look that really surpasses
And is so hot I need sunglasses

Well...you did ask for it...

Girls who wear glasses
used to miss out on my passes
But then came Velma from Scooby Doo
along with "self-discovery" too
And to them I now stick like molasses

Little Wing, you write terrific limericks! And I love it that you wrote it using the words.:-)

Why, yes, VE, I did ask for it. And thank you for giving it to me. Love your limerick!

Editorial note: There seems to be a real "ass" theme going on with today's limericks. Who'd a-thunk?:-)

Puggy, I'm not at all surprised to learn it's Velma you've been lusting after all these years. Jealous, but not surprised.:-)

Some men don't like women in glasses,
Preferring pert boobs and tight asses;
But for me, give me one with trouble seeing,
Because you'll never know when it's me being
The one out of his league trying to make passes.

LOL, Mike. Your limerick is spot on.:)

Ode to the bespectacled Chick,
To her and all of her clique,
Even the ugly frames from the flick,
And the Irish who used to be called Mic.
Its not how they see,
Its how they see me,
And can I light their fire with my Bic.

Thanks for another fun limerick, Charles.:)

P.S. - Zippos work better.:-)
