I can't do it. I tried, but thinking in terms of one week to live is rather depressing for a Hump-day.

Okay, that was weak. LOL

You're welcome, NYD. And thank YOU for playing. Great answers!:)

Aw, Kan my baby, I didn't mean for it to be depressing -- just to make the peeps think.:)

I love your answers, VE. And I will personally volunteer to oversee the gnome placement. I love gnomes.:)

Poor /t. One week to go and still the work never ends, does it?:)

I disagree, Roxan. That's not weak at all. In fact, it makes perfect sense -- a shepherd for authors. Wish I'd thought of it!:)

Pinks, your answers are just divine, especially to #10.:)

"I see, G," says she. Okay, you're granted immunity. BG knows why.:-)xoxo

Very solid answers, Charles. Your daughter's a lucky girl to have a dad so invested in her well being. And once again, you provided some funny definitions. Thanks.:-)

If you learned that you had only one week to live, list:
1. 3 people (first names only) with whom you would want to mend fences;
Sorry. Too personal.

2. 3 people (first names only) with whom you would want to spend a lot of time;
My mother
My sister
My man

3. 3 people (first names only) you'd like to pillory;
George
Dick
Karl

4. 3 important financial transactions you would make;
What do I care? I can't take it with me. Money's not what I want to waste my time thinking about.

5. 3 priority steps toward putting your affairs in order you would take;
A solid will.
Go ahead and get married to S.
With only a week, that's about all the time I'd care to spend thinking about non in-the-moment stuff.

6. 3 people from long ago (first names only) you'd like to look up;
No time! I have people who love me now. What do I give a crap about people I haven't seen in forever? You're totally stressing me out here, giving me all these chores when I have only one week! I want to look at the sky, I want to eat all my favourite foods and get drunk and happy and dance.

7. 3 places you would like to see;
Still sounding too much like a list of chores. Perhaps this is not the 'meme' for me.

8. 3 books you never got around to reading that you'd want to read now;
Are you joking?!?! I love reading, but I have only one week to live!!!

9. 3 bequests you'd want to make sure you made;
Are you trying to make sure we think about this stuff now? Very diabolical.

and
10. 3 things you've never done that you'd want to do.
Can't think of a single one, except maybe to buy a really really really expensive botttle of wine, just to see if it is actually better than my regular $9-$15 range.

Serena said...

I know, Camille. That was diabolically dark of me to do. What a fantastic array of answers it produced, though! Thanks for playing along. Go buy yourself that expensive bottle of wine now.:)
