I keep forgetting to post "the rules." Duh. You'll just have to overlook me since I'm flying by the seat of my pants here, contriving my own memes. You can either port the memes here to your own blogs, answer them, and tag people with them if you so desire, or you may simply answer the questions here. Your choice.

TWISTED LINGUISTICS will attempt to tackle these definition-defying Words Gone Wild today.

slit your juggler - What the reasonable person does when the juggler drops his balls and fails to entertain.

publishihing - Writers staging a sing-in outside the doors of a publishing house hoping to get a contract.

defiantely - Assuredly anti-establishment.

origial - The first Aboriginal.

Some of the more unusual Google search terms I've seen this week:

speed bead
she's so domineering
duct tape gag
doped youth and love madness

And now -- my pick for the scariest video of 2007:-

First day back for the new year and you are making us work?! My boss is not even making us do heavy work today. Redheads are evil.

Yes, yes, Kan my baby, redheads are evil. And you know you love doing my bidding. Mwhahahahaha!

Circles and squares, huh? Hmmm. Sunrise isn't strictly an object, but we'll take it. I agree wholeheartedly with your #3 items. You ... love winter? Geez, the high temp here today was 26. I don't love winter. But I do hope you also have a great New Year, kiddo.:)

Pyramids and stars. Yeah, VE. I love those, too. And I LOVE your #2 items, and #3, and -- well, all of them. What great answers! If I haven't already said so, Happy New Year to you!:)

It's true, Pinks -- evil redheads are harsh taskmistresses. LOL. I like your #1 answers, and I REALLY like your #2 (and #6). Not much looks better than hot naked men. When they're working hard, of course. Love your choices for #4. And don't feel bad about #7; I just put my suitcases away last night.:)

Okay, I was seriously going to try to defend the girl in that video, you know, what with us being fellow South Carolinians and all...but there just isn't a defense for that.

Venting is good, Charles. LOL. You're scaring me with #1. That's Math, isn't it? Boy, do I ever agree with you on #3! #4 -- yeah! Pretty!:)

S'okay, Galen. I think even less than 1/4 of my brain is working right now. I agree with your #3 and #5, albeit I'm now feeling hurlish. #6 doesn't surprise me. LOL.:)

Lucy, I think y'all ought to burn that girl at the stake. I mean, really! What the hell was she thinking?:)

LOL, /t. That hurt my brain trying to decipher that, but it was kind of fun. I'm weird that way. I think you're exactly right about the plagiarized speech. Who can we report it to?:)

Sling, honey, I think she'd go out with you in a heartbeat. Just remember to use words of no more than 1.5 syllables and for God's sake don't ask her any questions.:-)

Everybody's effin' funny tonight, G. I love it.:-)

publishihing - Phishing for publishers. It won't work, or will it?

That video burns my brain every time I see it. All I can think is she's a shoo-in for republican presidential nomination 2008.

Serena said...

That's a great definition, Jack, that I totally missed. But nah, phishing for publishers probably wouldn't work.:-)

It hurts my brain, too, Camille. And the girl probably could get nominated on the Republican ticket. (see Serena shudder)
