"Blood-curdling..." -- Part 32

Haggis set off to browse the market stalls, marveling at the sight of simple frocks and millinery, the feel of silk and feathers and rice paper, breathing in the scents of cinnamon and incense and fruit in season.

It had been a long time since Haggis's senses had been stimulated, longer still since she had had the need or inclination for clothes and other ordinary necessities and luxuries.

Haggis's appetite had suddenly returned as well, and she was just about to purchase a plump red apple when she heard a great keening sound from the street.

Turning to see what the commotion was, she saw people looking up at the sky, other people running away, and heard much wailing and screaming. Looking upwards to attempt to ascertain the object of their rapt attention, she was astounded to see what looked like a flaming ball rapidly descending to earth.

Hmmm...
Was Haggis only evil because she was in snake form and people treated her as evil?
Now that she is human again is she going to regain her humanity?

You will know the definitive answer to that question tomorrow. Just bear in mind that Haggis has never been good -- or fully human.:)

Congrats on milking it for an entire month BTW. I did not think you were going to be able to do it.

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it, either, Kan. Lord knows, some segments were awfully skimpy. But ... tomorrow ends it and tells Haggis's fate. Will she:

1. Revert to snakedom?
2. Declare war on Devorah?
3. Go away and play nicely?
4. Turn up at Myspace posting nekkid pix?

Goodness gracious, Steve.:) Thanks.

I think she will join the YWCA and begin to shape those abs.

Ahhhhhh. So what you're saying is that she'll resurrect as one of the Village People.:)
