The news has been a scary place this week.
- Mudslides
- Earthquakes
- Vanishing airliners
- War drums beating
- Ebola outbreaks
- Spring storms
Good grief, let’s do something else.
You are a Lover of Life |
You are both unusual and uncompromising. You're an interesting blend of traditional and modern. You are physically affectionate. You love to hug your friends. You are able to relate to people on their own level. You are socially adaptable. |
Happy Hump Day!

Sherry...?
YOU, an unusual Hedonist?
I'll remember that!
Oh! Dear! It says I'm a show-off!
"You love to glory in each moment. You truly live in the now.
You love adulation and praise. You want your accomplishments to be noticed by all.
You love being the center of attention. You were born for the spotlight.
You are flashy and showy. You like to flaunt what you've got."
That couldn't be any further from the truth!!
The thing is...I love fresh fruit, vegetables and bread; and when I go to farmer's markets or any greengrocery section of supermarkets, I end up with bags of produce! That's not showing off! That just love fresh produce! Boooooohooooo...*sob* *sob*
I do love my creature comforts, G-man -- what I want, when I want.:)
Shoot, Lee, I answered about wanting peaches and tomatoes and bread and got pegged an unusual hedonist. I think I'm just a fairly ordinary hedonist. No boo-hooing, now. Instead, flaunt your fresh produce!:-)
Seymour says it's time to think about something totally unthreatening...cupcakes ;-)
I've just noticed the typos I made in my response! See how upset it made me? lol
Cupcakes! Seymour is a genius, Skunk. You may tell him that I am now officially in love with him. Cupcakes!:-)
Buck up, Lee. We hedonists don't get upset -- except when we can't get our fresh produce and bread.:-)
Found myself a pleasure seeker, too, Serena.
Last week was a week of bad news round the world.
"Parenthetically Speaking" has been included in Friday's Sites To See for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point many new visitors in your direction.

It was indeed a bad news week, Quid. Pleasure seeking seems infinitely preferable.:)
Thank you so much, Jerry.:)
I was tired of doing those things anyway. I'm ready to start blogging again (maybe).
Pugsley, it's so good to "see" you! I thought maybe you'd won Westminster or something and were keeping company with the big dogs.:-)
I hope you blog again -- you're so much better at it than I am.:)
