Weird, wild weather here the past few days -- hot, humid, cloudy, windy, with a little intermittent rain thrown in for fun. Total La-la Land. But life goes on. I have AC, cold Dr Peppers, and two new Zombie Apocalypse books. I just read the new James Lee Burke, "Creole Belle," too, and it was terrific.

Looks like a classic damsel in distress situation if I've ever seen one. I don't see too many because I have a natural aversion. But this time is different, because, dammit, I am dog-tired of looking the other way.
I can certainly understand your stance, Pugsley. I've gotten into a hell of a lot of jams because I was looking the other way.;)
