Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Beavers Gone Wild
Mmm-hmm, I know what you were thinking. But here's what it is: we seem to have a sudden plague of rabid beavers here in Virginia. There have been only four rabid beavers in Virginia in the last decade (and 12 in Virginia's entire history). In just the last few days, however, there have been two rabid beaver attacks, sending three people to the hospital for treatment and the requisite series of rabies shots.
The first incident was in Louisa County (epicenter of last summer's earthquake), where two young girls were attacked and both bitten while swimming in Lake Anna.
The second incident occurred in Giles County, where a woman was attacked and bitten in Walker Creek.
In both cases, rabies was confirmed in the marauding beavers.
This is getting creepy. First, there were those Zombie-like face-eating human-on-human attacks. Now the beavers are going all Zombie and joining the fray. What do you think is going on? Seriously. I'm taking your guesses here.

hmmmm
well, looks to
be a leftie plot to try
to embarrass republican
beaver-lovers (not the "i am not gay" ones, the televangelist "oh lord, i have sinned" (again) ones), although those face eating zombie attacks are more likely a consequence of democrats waking to the realization that they are just republicans by another name
but that's just a guess
HAPPY DAY AFTER HUMP DAY

TGI-THE DAY BEFORE-F DAY, SERENA JOY!

/t.
That sounds like a show on the Travel Channel....
When Beavers Bite BACK!!!
I haven't seen a Beaver in so long I don't know if I'd recognize one.
Have a Great Day Sherry...:-)
So you think it all has political connotations, /t.? Could be. Makes sense. All I know is I'll be henceforth avoiding lakes, creeks, and political rallies. Happy Day After and Day Before!;)
Dang, Mr. G-man, you probably just gave the reality show purveyors another idea. I don't think I've ever seen a beaver. They look pretty cute in pictures, but I'd run like hell if I happened across one. I got enough problems without going rabid.:)
has politico
written all over it, yes?
<3
Dam if I know.
Now that you've opened my eyes to the true nature of the situation, /t., I can see it. It does indeed. Hmmmmm.;)
I think you're right, Pugsley; the evidence will be found hidden deep in the recesses of those cunning beavers' secret dams.;)
How cute...we don't have beavers here in Oz!
I was going to say that we don't have beavers Down Under...but that might cause a bit of hysteria!!! ;)
LOL, Lee. Yep, they are pretty cute -- unless they've gone rabid.:)
