Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Time Is On My Side
I swear, Mother Nature has gone just plumb schizophrenic. You know we had a snowstorm Sunday, right? Last night, we had a thunderstorm. And today it's about 70 outside. Weird.
Now that I have some time on my hands -- and my brain cells are starting to regenerate -- I've been keeping busy taking care of stuff that should have been done a long time ago. Admittedly, I've been lax in doing stuff that I don't have to do. Now I've got the fire in me and ... stuff is getting done. An abundance of time is a wonderful thing to have. I do, however, have to find a job. Eventually. Right now, I'm just enjoying doing exactly what I want to do, when I want to do it.

You have Spring fever. Send some over to me. My yard is a wreck and so is my house. I'm not doing too well either. It looks like Summer outside. Birds are chirping, frogs are mating, Azaleas are blooming, cats are eating mice. Sheesh. As much as I hate being cold, I'm detesting this non-winter we're having here!!!!
Enjoy your energy spurt. I hope it lasts!!! xo
We can only hope that the fire keeps burning for a long time...:-)
I hope the energy spurt lasts, too, Marion. As weird as it feels, I haven't missed winter at all and love the non-winter. Today, it really does feel like spring. Puts a spring in my step!
xo
Absolutely, Mr. G -- and pray that nobody calls the fire department on me.:)
I am worried about that fire in you. There is a town in Pennsylvania that's been burning since the early 60's.
Don't worry, Pugsley, it's not me. I'm pretty sure the heat from my fire can't be felt as far away as PA.;)
