Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Taxes. Ugh!
I finished my taxes yesterday. Then I ran into a printing problem; i.e., some crucial boxes and lines weren't printing. I fiddled and messed around with it, then uninstalled and reinstalled the thing. Only then did I remember that I had the same problem last year and ended up printing the forms from work. Of course, this year, I don't have a work printer. Then a lightbulb went off in what's left of my brain -- since the printing problem only developed when I went to Windows 7, I wondered what would happen if I tried printing from an old computer. I got out an old computer running on Vista, hooked the printer up to it, logged in to my tax account and, voilĂ , it printed flawlessly. Score one for me -- which, trust me, doesn't happen all that often any more.
It's very warm today and the snow is mostly gone.
Happy Hump Day!

Your a Computer Genius Sherry!!
Good grief, Mr. G -- if I'm a genius, I'd hate to see the jams I'd get myself into if I were an idiot.:-)
I always use Windows 95 to do my taxes because I pay less, that way.
Oh, hell, Pugsley; I lose again. I haven't seen Windows 95 since about 1998.;)
