Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Now Hiring: Twisted Linguistics
I cruise through the job listings on Craigslist frequently. I rarely see any likely prospects, but I did find TWISTED LINGUISTICS the other day.
We are seeking someone that is upbeat and don't mind working independly...
...Responsibilities inclunde but are not limited to:
...compliling and analyzing financial infromation
...Skills required:
Very good knowledge of the English laguage...
...Interested candidate should foward there resume...
I'd say just about anyone could walk in off the street, take this $485 per week job, and own the company in no time flat.
Have a good Thursday!

That's one of the best ones I've EVER seen. LOL! I used to scan resumes that came in where I worked and laugh my ass off at the grammatical and spelling errors.
It's almost Friday. Woo-Hoooo!
Love & Blessings,
Marion
Marion, I sat here and laughed my butt off when I read that one -- and I was at work at the time. LOL. It IS almost Friday. Woo-hoooo!!

Sometimes it feels like a plum, Mr. G., and sometimes it feels like the pit. Assuming plums have pits. Do they? Maybe I'm thinking of a peach pit. And it IS the pits sometimes. But I digress. Happy Almost Weekend!
I have no doubt whatsoever, Skunk, that a lot of those Craigslist jobs -- especially the strangely worded ones -- are indeed scams. Must be why CL plasters scam disclaimers all over the site. LOL. Hey, Happy Weekend!
It's a perfect, perfect example!
Craiglist, fuel for the funnybone.

It does have its uses, Quid. LOL. Hope you're having a terrific weekend.:)
