Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Philosophy on Ice
If you could turn back time, would you? I think I would choose not to. I certainly wouldn't want to relive my childhood, not unless I had my pick of relatives. I wouldn't choose to relive my 20s, not unless I had the option to completely reinvent them. I wouldn't want to redo my 30s, either. They were okay, but not great enough to be revisited. After that, it was all right enough not to feel the need to correct anything. And from here, who knows what the future will bring? I just hope I do the right thing and make wise choices, because there ain't no going back and doing it over. I'd hate to be an 80-year-old screw-up with no second chances left.
Today's as frigid as Frozen Hell, but it's Hump Day and, if it's good enough, I might do that over. Have a happy one!
I haven't done Twisted Linguistics in ages. I picked these up over just the past couple of days. Aren't they beauties?

No do-overs for this girl, either. It was 25 degrees night before last. I'm wearing shorts today and it's 70-something. Sigh. Louisiana weather! Happy Hump Day!! xoxo
70-something, Marion?! Tell Ray to clear out some closet space because I am moving in with you. Happy Hump Day!:)
Well, I'm giving you a second chance to reconsider only making wise choices from here on out, because that's telling me I have no chance.
:-(
I'm trying, Puggy-pie. Sometimes I do okay, other times I thoroughly screw it up. Hell, maybe I'm Rain Man in drag and never even knew it.;)
If I had a dime for every bad choice that I've made...I could retire comfortibly.
Endevour to persevere...:-)
Oh, indeed, Mr. G-man. I'm sure we all could. Just think of all those shiny, sparkling dimes. Woo-hoo!
