Ho-Ho Hmmm

Christmas Red Tree for Fb Share
My Christmas shopping is all done. And most of it is wrapped. I haven't put out the first decoration yet, though, except for a wreath. It's kind of hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it's 73+ degrees outside. I'm hoping to find out ASAP who's coming in for Christmas and who's not so I can beat the rush and mail whatever is going to need to be mailed.

I always splurge at Christmastime and buy myself something that I wouldn't ordinarily spend the money on. Not necessarily extravagant, or decadent; just something that I wouldn't normally indulge myself with. This year -- nada. I can't think of a thing that I need, want, or would die if I didn't have. If I don't think of anything before, there are always the after-Christmas sales, I guess.

I'm not in the Christmas Spirit yet, either, Serena.

I have no further gifts to purchase and/or wrap...I've already done that and posted them to the recipients. I have no elaborate plans - I'll spend it quietly, purposely...but I do have a big order placed for fresh Aussie seafood...it's going to be too hot to even think about have a traditional hot Christmas dinner. Anyway, seafood is pretty much traditional here in Australia nowadays...after all...it is our summer.

As for decorations...in your words...nada. If I put them up, I'll only have to take them down again! ;)

No elaborate plans here, either, Lee. Your idea for seafood sounds great. I just may do that, too. I might not put up many decorations, either, because you're right -- the more you put up, the more time and effort it takes to take them back down.:-)

I'm working Christmas (as usual), so no plans here, either. And no extravagance. Other than a couple of $4 strings of colored lights to entertain my pet rocks.

Yes, Skunk, we must always strive to keep the young rocks entertained.:-)
