The Friday Thingonmyblog

It's been a quick and busy week. Thank goodness it's TGIF!

If you're lucky enough to be having a long Labor Day weekend, do something fun and enjoy it!

I am not vouching for the accuracy of today's quiz. Sounds to me like the work of another bored 12-year-old. But you'll take it anyway, won't you?

Your Happy Word is "Delight"

You are happy because you are engaged in and curious about the world. The smallest things life your spirits.

You love that life is full of surprises. You can always see what's extraordinary in an ordinary day.

You are whimsical and unpredictable. You like to shake things up a lot and have fun every day.

Your friends can always count on you to make them smile. You are a delight yourself.

Wow! I sure am glad you strong-armed me into taking this quiz! It is SO accurate, it sees right through my soul clear to the billboard across the way!

And LOOK! It's eerily similar to yours! I think we should save the dough we'd normally spend renewing our eHarmony memberships for our inevitable star-crossed nuptuals instead!

Whew! I am completely drained and out of exclamation points!

You are happy because you are engaged TO and curious about the world. This clearly indicates you foolishly rushed into the commitment in a haphazard and clueless manner.

The smallest things life your spirits. They are obviously too small to actually LIFT your spirits, but at least they animate them a wee bit.

You love that life is full of surprises. Whether your car was just towed away, or a random stranger accuses you of fathering her pup, you savor every special unexpected moment.

You can always see what's extraordinary in an ordinary day. And you never consider it ordinary, even though - predictably - each new day contains something extraordinary.

You are whimsical and unpredictable. Whether it's inserting daisies into those external airplane tubes that are so critical for accurate readings of speed and altitude, or fake palm tree covers placed over 4-way intersection stop signs, you never fail to deliver.

Like soda cans retrieved for coworkers, you like to shake things up a lot, and have fun every day.

Your friends can always count on your departure to make them smile.

Alone, you like to delight yourself.

Well, I'm chock full of something, Mr. G-man.:P

Pugsley is over-excited. Pugsley perhaps needs a nice little puppy nap. Then we'll talk about that eHarmony deal.;)

Your Happy Word is Hope

You refuse to give up on anyone, including yourself. You see the best in others.
You think happiness should be shared. You spread your message of optimism as much as possible.

You will keep believing when everyone else has stopped. You think good will always prevail in the end.
You believe if we trusted each other more, the world would be a better place. All we need is a little hope.

"Delight"??? Well, maybe not. Your happy word (s) is probably...

"good book". I know mine is. However, the 12 year old has me at Hope. If I do it again, I'll probably get "Change". :)

We've run out of our public holidays down this way...nothing now until Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed yours, Serena,. :)

Did you spend the whole day today thinking about me? I figured you might, because (among the many reasons for thinking about me)I am the opposite of work.

Serena said...

Yeah, give me a good book, Quid, and I'm delighted any day of the week.:)

This is it for us, too, Lee, until Thanksgiving and then Christmas.:)

If you're the opposite of work, Pugsley, then you KNOW I spent all day thinking about you.;)

My happy word is bloviationality. Well okay, it doesn't really make me happy; but when I use it on a scammer, and they ask what I mean, it makes me laugh...

I'm sure it's gonna make me laugh, too, Skunk, so you know I have to ask -- what DOES it mean?:-)
