Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

R.I.P.
Phyllis Diller died yesterday. She's been around ever since I can remember. Well, I guess -- she was 95 years old. I knew she was old, but I didn't realize she was that old.
Scott McKenzie has also died. Some of you are too young to have any idea who he was. Shoot, I'm barely old enough myself. I still hear his anthem song on the radio every now and then, though, and recognize it.
I spent much of the weekend doing research and drafting stuff for baby lawyer. Finished up and it got faxed off to the court yesterday. It would be great if this led to regular employment, but still ... I just don't know. Time (and paying clients) will tell.
Y'all have a good Tuesday.

Be sure to wear...
Some Flowers in your hair!
I suspect that would be looked upon as slightly odd these days, Mr. G-man.:)
Well in that case, I believe it's finally time to share my favorite Phyllis Diller joke:
The newlyweds next door were going on a honeymoon cruise and the husband went into a drugstore and brought Dramamine and contraceptives. The dear old druggist took him aside and said, “Son, if it makes you sick, why do you do it.”
LOL, Pugsley. Why indeed.;)
We've lost quite a few lately...
We have, Lee. Quite a lot this year.
