Serena's Friday Play Date

R.I.P., Michael Jackson

R.I.P., Farrah

It was a sad day in L.A. yesterday with the loss of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson on the same day. Certainly, Jackson redefined the word "weird" and grew more eccentric with each passing year, but there's no denying his talent. "Thriller" was one of the finest pieces of work ever produced, in my opinion. Farrah's passing was, due to the nature of her illness, expected, but Jackson's sudden death was shocking.

Moving on, TGIF and wishes for a wonderful weekend to you all. Y

Your Address Says You're Growing

Right now, you are working on changing your life for the better.

You feel restless and ready to get moving. You're stick of sitting still.

At your best, you are forgiving of yourself and others. You're ready to move on.

At your worst, you fear change and the future.

You are absolutely right Sherry.
It was probably my favorite music video EVER!
But now he will always be remembered as a child molesting giver of Jesus Juice....

And Farrah? She's a Real Angel now.

Have a wonderfully quiet week-end...Galen

Yeah, and that's a bad, sad legacy to leave behind, Galen. It's a shame that that kind of stain overshadowed his talent.

I'm definitely pumped for a quiet, relaxed, uneventful weekend.:)

MJ was not on my favorites list, and that was before some of his more pronounced eccentricites came to light. But, there's no denying his impact on the music world; a local talkshow host compared his unexpected passing to that of Elvis and John Lennon, even while confessing that the show host didn't like Jackson's music, either. Even for those who didn't like or follow MJ, that speaks to the power of his impact, and the legacy that will overshadow his personal issues, for generations to come. He'll be judged on the totality of his works and the influence he had on so many other entertainers. And that influence was considerable, to fan and non-fan alike.

Always adored Farrah Fawcett; 'nuff said.

May they both rest in peace.

Not one of my favorites, either, Skunk, but he did make some great music and video.:)
