How'd I get in here first? DOH!

1. Dream?
I reckon so...unless those hobgoblins are really shortsheeting the bed with me in it, and I need to start hosing down some really strange night critters with Raid...

2. How often?
Unless there's drugs in the water, I think it's nightly...

3. Dream in color?
I think so, especially since they started restoring dreams in color from the old black and white archives...

4. Remember dreams when awake?
Not always, but sometimes I'll see something during the day that will remind me I had a dream about that...for instance, when I saw a large chunk of iceberg fall off and wipe out a passing ship, I remembered my ex-fiancee from a recent nightmare...

5. Recurring dreams?
The usual suspects...one, I imagined being hijacked by aliens, taken to their planet, and being forced to appear on an alien talk show with Joey Behartoid...it was gnarly...

6. Ever wake up from a dream physically affected?
Oh, sure...I once dreamed I got fallen on by a combination of Rosie O'Donnell and Roseanne Barr, and when I woke up, my bed was on the first floor of my third floor apartment building (I live on the third floor). My neighbor wasn't amused, but could fit in a sidewalk crack...

7. Believe in dream interpretation?
Heck yeah...interpret that last one for me and get back to me on it...I want to know how much therapy it requires...

8. Dreams are messages from subconscious?
I suppose. I mean, after three concussions, I reckon my subconscious could be excused for sending me messages like "devil bunnies, devil bunnies! I snort the banana!!!"

9. Dream last night?
I reckon so...there's a hole in the wall from the shotgun blast resulting from my shooting one of those hobgoblins for trying to steal one of my snortable bananas..

Yep

Nightly, daily, you name it

Technicolor!

4. Do you remember your dreams when you wake?

Usually

5. Do you have a recurring dream?

Sometimes. I can even start up from where I left off. My dreams work sort of like a giant On Demand network…I can choose what to dream tonight…

6. Have you ever awakened from a dream crying, shaking, or otherwise physically affected?

Only when falling and I hit the ground…

7. Do you believe in dream interpretation?

Nah, I use Alta Vista’s Babelfish Dream translator…

8. Do you think dreams are messages from our subconscious?

I think the subconscious is having another giant party and just trying to send the invitation out again…

9. Did you dream last night? If you did, and if you remember it, what was it about?

Errr….can’t tell you! Ha ha ha

1. Do you dream?

Yes, but apparently ONLY of some gal named Jeannie with the light brown hair.

2. How often do you dream?

Every night (unless I'm only dreaming that I'm dreaming).

3. Do you dream in color?

Yes, but I adopt the same format as Cheap Trick's "In Color" album, where my "nerdy" dreams are relegated to the Black & White back-cover.

4. Do you remember your dreams when you wake?

Only if sex wasn't involved.

5. Do you have a recurring dream?

Yes. It's the one where everyone in America is both Socialist AND Muslim.

6. Have you ever awakened from a dream crying, shaking, or otherwise physically affected?

Yes. Anytime I have that dream where the ENTIRE cheerleader squad says yes all on the same night to my advances.

7. Do you believe in dream interpretation?

Yes. That's why I'd like to recount my juicier dreams in front of the United Nations.

8. Do you think dreams are messages from our subconscious?

No, because my subconscious uses all of those texting shortcuts and codes that I am unfamiliar with.

9. Did you dream last night? If you did, and if you remember it, what was it about?

I dreamt that Sarah Palin had been turned into a vampire by John McCain, and was - a la Stephen King's "Salem's Lot" - floating outside my window, waiting for me to invite her in. Of course it was past the election, so I waved her off, as I am no longer accepting visitors or answering the phone.

Well, somebody's gotta be first, Skunk. I don't know about these hobgoblins and Raid dreams of yours; sounds more like nightmares. Yikes! All I can say about your #5 and #6 dreams is -- holy crap! Dreams like that might make me strive for insomnia.:)

I envy you your #5 ability, VE. I've never had any control over what I dream. They just ... come. You won't tell me what you dreamed last night? Spoilsport!:-)

Thank you, /t., and a pleasant TGIF Eve to you, too. You dream of redheads? Wow! Of course, if one of those redheads who pop up in dreams is ever named Serena, look out.:-)

Puggy, Puggy -- everybody dreams of ol' Jeannie. And how often does #4 happen? Tell Dr. Serena all about it. Don't tell me the specifics of #5, though; that would scare the pee out of me. #6 -- Great Expectations. And an Impossible Dream. Not even Black Bart could handle that.:-)

Roxan, I dream every night, too. I don't usually remember the dreams after I wake up, though, unless it was exceptionally vivid. Or disturbing. I have a recurring dream that I've had periodically for decades. It's always the same exercise in futility, but it's not scary. With regard to #8, I do think dreams are message-bearers.:)

1. Do you dream?
Yes.
2. How often do you dream? Not very oftern at night. All the time during the day. I might be dreaming right now. :)

3. Do you dream in color?
Yes, although I read somewhere we really only are capable of dreaming in black and white.

4. Do you remember your dreams when you wake?
Rarely. Unless it's a really good one or a really odd one, and then I write it down right away.

5. Do you have a recurring dream?
Not anymore. I did when I was a kid. I used to dream that my mom's car would come to life and try and kill me and my family.

6. Have you ever awakened from a dream crying, shaking, or otherwise physically affected?
Yes. Once crying. Once...smiling. ;)

7. Do you believe in dream interpretation?
Yes, but not specific items. I more analyze the dream as a whole and try to get an idea of the feeling behind it.

8. Do you think dreams are messages from our subconscious?
Eh...I think they are unresolved thoughts from our subconscious... so I guess maybe?

9. Did you dream last night? If you did, and if you remember it, what was it about?
No... I didn't. How not fun is that answer.

Tomorrow's friday!! :)

1. Do you dream?
Of course, both in sleep & in waking!

2. How often do you dream?
Almost every other night!

3. Do you dream in color?
Vivid brilliant colors!

4. Do you remember your dreams when you wake?
Most often I do!

5. Do you have a recurring dream?
Yes I have, its about me getting married & remarried & remarried, & sometimes in my dream I know that i am married & still they are marrying me away ...it is a nightmare actually...

6. Have you ever awakened from a dream crying, shaking, or
otherwise physically affected?
Yes often. when I was a child, I used to dream about turning to stone. Then I would wake up & remain immobile for a long time. sometimes I get up screaming & in cold sweat. That usually happened when I was a child & I had a recurrent dream of my mother burying me alive, & another about a wolf chasing me on a small path & there was ocean on both sides & then another in which a man who was beheading children was chasing me & another where I get lost in woods & come to a palace & suddenly the bells start ringing & I begin to suffocate!

7. Do you believe in dream interpretation?
I do.

8. Do you think dreams are messages from our subconscious?
I think they are.

9. Did you dream last night? If you did, and if you remember it, what was it about?
I did. I dreamed that my son had become a toddler & I was running around to fulfill his weird wishes. Then I saw myself trying to please my step sister, who could never be easily pleased. She wanted the clothes I was wearing, so I gave them away to her. Then I had to leave & I was running naked in the corridor of my sister's apartment. There I saw some man's clothes lying in an open window of an apartment. I stole them & wore them thinking I would come back & return them & hoping that they wouldn't be missed till the time I returned. Then the owner saw me & started chasing me I ran into a school building. The owner stripped me of his clothes leaving me naked in front of a classroom full of students. The teacher had a towel & he gave it to me & drove the students out. He said that could leave as soon as the students left the premises & when that happened, he reappeared & pulled the towel & started to rape me ,& on that note I woke up with a start!

I don't know, Snow. I think that whoever posited the dreams in black and white theory was full of it. There's certainly plenty of color in my dreams. Re your #5, oh, my! That would be a horribly scary dream for a little kid. Re #8, yeah, I think they're basically the same thing.:)

Sometimes I WISH my subsconcious would get Alzheimer's, Galen. Maybe then it would quit nagging me. Wishing you a lovely, happy weekend, too.:)

My goodness, Mona, that was some dream you had. I'm sure I would have awakened shaking and otherwise physically affected by one like that. How scary!:)
