Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

Your Opinion, Please
I'd like to do a separate blog to memorialize all the terrific poetry you people write here. I've set one up, though I haven't yet had time to start transferring poems. If anyone prefers that their haikus, limericks, etc., not be included, or would like to be credited under a pseudonym, please e-mail me and let me know. I'm always so delighted with your poetic offerings that I think they should have their own showcase. I hope you'll find it fun as well.

Great idea. I like the blue background.
You can put anything you like by me on your blog, SJ. :)

Ah, gorsh. If it were something I'd be ashamed of, I'd put it under an alias in the first place.
Now, that's fun and a great idea! :)
Oh, the opinion, I think it should work. At least it doesn't cost anything more than time.
I think that's a good idea.
Thanks, Mike. I like the blue, too.:)
Thanks, Snow. Will do.:)
You don't have a thing to be ashamed of, Charles. You're a great poetry contributor.:)
Thank you, Lee. And thank you, Lamby.:)
I'm trying to think of a situation where my Pug persona would need an alias, but unfortunately they don't read poetry in those types of bars.
hey SJ
Cool idea :)
If ever I wrote you a poem, its probably a part of a song I stole from somewhere...but I'm ok with you posting it. I'm not ashamed to have it posted with my name: Pink.
;)

Perhaps you need a lower class of bar, Puggy.:-)
Thanks, Pink. I'm pretty sure you've written a few verses here and there.:)
You may post anything of mine under my pen name,"Lord High Pontificate of the Western Hemisphere"..or Sling..whichever.
Maybe I'll just call you Sling, Sling. LOL.:)
Very cute.
Thanks!:)
Aren't you the sweetest girl EVER! I am all for the idea as long as your example poetry (the little golden nuggets you drop to entice the rest of us to do our own) are at the top of the list!!

Feel free to display or even dipose,
me limericks, lyrics and prose.
Anything me has written here,

Even if it's as bad as an old smelly shoe.
STOMP.
Not to worry, Greeny. If I wrote twisted poetry on one of those posts, it'll be included.:)
Thanks, Scary. As I recall, you've penned some real gems over the past few months.:)
