Grail Among the Dust Bunnies

Saturday Music for your enjoyment. I like it, anyway. I love the seductive beat. It makes me think of dark swamps and bright moons and ... stuff. There's no way I can sit still when I hear it.

There's not much going on in my mountain fortress today. I've done a little of this, a little of that. I wouldn't mind doing more of that, given half a chance. I've picked up the worst of my clutter, vacuumed up the dog hair, blown the dust off the furniture, knocked down the cobwebs, and stuck my dirty clothes in the washer. That sounds like enough to me to be entitled to claim "busy morning." Perhaps I'll reward myself with an afternoon on the couch with a book. Or perhaps I'll continue searching for Excalibur. It has to be somewhere. There's no rule that says I can't be the one who finds it. I need to find it before the dust bunnies start breeding with the dog hair and stage an uprising.

For some Saturday fun, what could be better than a puppy's antics?

Aren't we getting any details of that?

That video seriously reminds me that I need a doggy.

SJ,
Wow, never figured you for a fan of Godsmack.

So what would cause a sword to migrate from a lake in England to the mountains of the US? Are we depending on the randomness of quantum physics, to transport not just a single particle, but an entire assemblage of them? Ah heck, why not? Stranger things are said to have happened.

And not to be a smart-ass (although its not to be discarded, I could be/am, I guess), but where's the Grail come into play?
Did your horoscope say "forces scattered" this morning?
Hope you enjoy the reading, have a good (and restful) weekend.

"That" could be pretty much anything your imagination can conjure up, Mike.:)

That video seriously reminds me that I need a doggy.

You do, babe! ASAP, now that you see what you're missing.

You just never know with me, Charles. My likes are such an eclectic mess that you're likely to find the oddest things among them.

What would cause the weird migration? Why, MAGIC quantum physics, of course.

My "grail" is whatever I happen to be hunting down at a given moment. LOL. And yes, my forces are definitely scattered. I wouldn't have it any other way.:-)

There's nothing magical about quantum physics, we just don't understand them. We see the effects, but its counter-intuitive how they work. So they do seem magical.
At least I know now what you were referring to when you said grail. With the reference to Excalibur, I thought perhaps you were headed for Camelot in some way, shape or form.

Serena said...

I think that the mythical (or is it?) Excalibur lies in Glastonbury, or Avalon, which does not preclude our flitting to and from Camelot in our minds in hopes of a glimpse.:)

Quantum physics is to me one of those things like electricity and computers. I don't know HOW they work, just that they do. Therefore, it's all magical.

I loved the music 'Youtube' never heard of the group before.

I always enjoy hearing or seeing something new.

Thank you,

Annie

S, if you would, put me on your "that" list. No worries on the wait. I'm patient. :-)

Great quote, Charles! That says it all.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Annie. It's always good to be exposed to something new.

Which that shall I put you down for, Trée? You might like pancakes, dog walking, neighbor chatting. Makeup and shampoo, maybe not so much.:)

S, use your judgment. I trust you.

Cute puppy. Lacking a bit in the brain area. Cat would have figured it out in 2 seconds or less. Don't mind me, I'm in a pissy mood. LOL

Serena said...

Blind faith, Trée? Careful...

I don't know, Roxan. I've seen puppies and kittens both do that.:-)

I LOVE that song! I don't know anything else by Godsmack but that song is so hypnotizing. I remember driving home late one night and pulling up into the driveway. My neighbor's window was open and she was singing along with this song while she was washing dishes, and her song drifted out over the trees.

Serena said...

I love it, too, Greeny, and that's a very apt description -- hypnotic. It is, very much so.

Me gots a whole bunch of "that" to take cae of this weekend.

Looks like me missed a lot of good memes and posts over the week.

Those dogs are amazing! How did they train them to pantomime each other so well? Fabulous

STOMP.

Serena said...

Lots of "that" going around, Scary."-)

STOMP one for me.

I listen to music whilst doing housework, I'm not sure that I would get much done listening to this though.

I couldn't get any sound for whatever reason!

Nothing much happening up here or down here, in my mountain hideaway either...very quiet.

Serena said...

My doggie would be adorable in videos, G. Alas, I don't know how to make them.

Summer decisions aren't really all that hard for me -- goof off now, or goof off later.:-)

Yeah, Cathy, it would be hard to get anything done when you're feeling so compelled to dance to that.:)

No sound, Lee? Oh, no! The sound is the whole enchilada.:)

I Need to Know: was Godsmack a one-hit wonder? 'Cause if so, there's a real chance that the singer might actually run away with me.

Serena said...

No, definitely not a one-hit wonder. But it's okay, Greeny honey. You can run away with the singer. Send me a postcard!:-)

Don't you mean your fortess of solitude? I thought this was Superena Joy's blog.

Serena said...

Well, I do now, LBB.:) I never thought of calling myself Superena Joy before, but it sounds superena good rolling off my tongue. Thank you, dahling, for the new word.
