Interactive Wednesday

An old man in a pickup truck cut me off on the way to work this morning. He was so old that I didn't give him any sign language or anything, but the truck -- it was bright yellow! It looked like I was about to get creamed by Big Bird.

Littlebirdblue has a hysterically funny YouTube video up. If you're in the mood for giggles, do see it.

I have Twisted Linguistics for you to play with today.

libelist remarks
Notrize
Notary Republic
(high school is) littered with clicks
any gene of music
block objective content
absolutly (I think this one maybe refers to a total slut?)

Let's see what you can do with them.

Are you a pack rat?

You Are a Not Pack Rat

You're not a pack rat - and there's probably no rats in your home.
You have a living style that's totally minimalist. You're definitely not attached to stuff.

This one missed the boat a little bit. I am a bit of a pack rat when it comes to hoarding certain items. There are things I'll toss out with nary a whimper but other things that I've held onto for decades just because they're pretty and I "might" want them again sometime.

You know those crazy old people with a ton of video tapes and cats?
Well, you're training to be one. Time to do some spring cleaning. Even if it isn't spring!

The old guy probably cut you off because his eyes are not very sharp. As for the yellow truck, he is probably color blind also. Nice of you to give him a break.

Roxan, it's because (a) the freakin' quizzes lie or (b) we flippin' cheat. I should have gotten at least an F, if not outright expelled from Love School.:)

Hey, MXI, health is good! But ... are you? Really? Gotta worry about those bug parts, you know.

Serena said...

I expect you're right about the sharpness of his eyesight, Steve. In which case, he probably shouldn't be driving. He's just lucky I was feeling like a quasi nice lady today.:)

The quiz clearly lied on this one. I did not cheat. Unless not having a love life is better than having one. LOL

How does one get expelled from Love School? Inquiring minds and all that....

I guess I'm a slow learner, T, a slacker, because at my age I'm still struggling to answer the question, "I Wanna Know What Love Is.":)

Kan and I both attend the same Love University. Both of our GPAs suck. There's hope for Kan, though. LOL.

Fam and Friends is what got me bummed. A D?! That is pathetic. I have no love life so it is curious how I got an average grade in it.

I know I am a packrat. Sorry you had a close call with big bird.

I can't get on the survey sites tonight. They are punishing me for some reason. Oh well. I'm not a pack rat because my house is too small. I know that without a survey.

Serena said...

Good, insightful answers, Cathy. And good God almighty, I gotta tell you, I hate okra, too. LOL.

Rain, pack rats freakin' rule, and I'll tell you why. When somebody NEEDS something and sits down and cries when they remember they threw it out 10 years ago, WE'LL have it.

I'm still laughing about Big Bird. How's that new puppy doing?

Serena said...

Bummer, CD. Some kind of Mac issue going on? Although, they often punish us regardless of what they are.

Sometimes I wish I had a smaller house. Then I couldn't accumulate half as much useless shit.:)

Thanks for stopping by ;o)

You know that song makes me cry every time I hear it! I just love it...what a beautiful remake.

Now I have to go back and read the rest of your blog...hope to see more of you and watch out for TC and g-man...not really.

They are the best ever! Love them both!!!!

Serena said...

Hey, I'm glad you stopped by, Jillie. I love that song, too. It's Iz's "sendoff," so if it squeezes out a tear or two, it's with good reason.

Sorry I've not been in for a couple of days, Serena...I don't know where the time disappeared to...and I had a couple of unexpected interruptions. But I'm back...I hope!

I don't need to take a test to know I'm a pack rat. I save dates. Dates on documents, dates on letters, dates on pictures ... dates on anything, and I can't tell you how many times I've been glad of it. I never know when I'm going to need one of them to cast a chart, years down the road.

Roxan, what's with the comments in your blog? I clicked to add one, and nothing happened. I tried two different posts.

Serena said...

There's NEVER enough time, Lee. It's good to see you today, though.

You're right to pack rat that stuff, Lesia. If you needed it and didn't have it, you'd be up the creek. Hey, are you aware of the 'Agent B' thing? WTF?! If you haven't heard about it, e-mail me ASAP; it's that urgent.

I Love breathing clean air
I Ache in places i don't want to talk about
I Always pull through
I Usually pull through with mere seconds or inches of flesh to spare

Mondo intriguing answers, Camille. I'm particularly captivated by your "I am not a ... doorknob." I'm wondering what you were thinking of or remembering when you wrote that answer.

Love the "gene of music" explanation. Genre no longer matters. LOL. I know it was exhausting, but I'm practicing to be a Drill Instructor and y'all need your exercise.:)

Mike! Your definitions rock! You can be the substitute Twisted Linguistics teacher on days when I'm too tired.

SJ,

I'm wondering what you were thinking of or remembering when you wrote that answer.

Just free-association/first thing into my head. I dare you to prove me wrong on the first one, though!

Serena said...

Nope, I can't prove it -- no more than I can prove that I AM a doorknob. LOL. I love those old-fashioned crystal doorknobs.
