"Blood-curdling..." -- Part 19

"Until you dispatched him," Devorah reminded her.

"Back to hell, whence he came," Haggis allowed.

"You should talk, Haggis One L'Mar."

"Oh, fie," Haggis said, a low chortle rumbling from her throat. "I am not afraid of hell. Nothing is forever, Devorah -- not hell, not life among the living, and most assuredly not the weasely Dedman. In any event, my eggs will hatch soon and I vow that the first hatchling shall be yours. Have we a deal?"

"And what, prithee, will these offspring of yours be?" Devorah inquired. "Human, snake, demon, or some unspeakable mutation?"

"Well," Haggis teased, "keeps you guessing, does it not? The truth is, I have no idea what I have wrought. We shall have to await the blessed event to find out."

Since they are eggs I believe it is time for a Haggis Kin Omelet

Ugh! None for me, thanks.

Why not? Snake tastes like chicken so the omelet should be awesome.

Kan, don't you dare start calling me Chicken Girl. LOL.

Steve -- Heh-heh-heh. You just never know.

Is Kan an expert on Snake meat? Will Haggis love her offspring? Will Serena take a mid day nap? Will Steve have an ice cold german beer today?

All good questions...

The only question I can answer for sure is yes, she had her nap. She thinks she might rather have had one of those ice cold German beers. She's getting a cold. She ain't happy. :)
