Miss Begotten is one of my pet names for myself, for Southern Gothic reasons best kept to myself. Miss Begotten tries to speak plainly, but sometimes she tends to babble -- parenthetically, of course. It's never my intention to offend (and usually that's true - except on those [maybe not so] rare occasions when I mean it very friggin' much) but it sometimes happens, so if you're unusually easily offended...

ISO Mellow
I find perpetually chirpy-perky, happy-happy people irritating. I also find snippy, morbidly abrasive people irritating. Have I reached the curmudgeon stage of life? Where everything is irritating? No! It's irritating to even think so. There is much to be said for the nirvana of a happy medium. I just need to stay in close proximity to smack-dab in the middle so none of the extremes rub off on me. There are times -- numerous times -- when zoning out stands on its own.
Anybody disagree? If so, please proceed to do so -- but pleasantly. And quietly!

Women are not curmudgeons!
Especially YOU.
You may be a bit testy though.
And snarky
And snippy
And snappy
Especially Tonight.
But you have beautiful Red Hair.
Shapely gams
And a bubble butt!
That sort of balances things out!
:P:P:P
Zoning out is NOT overrated ;-)
serena joy,
g-man is right --
women are not curmudgeons
so put that irritating and all other thoughts out of your mind and drift, peaceful & quiet to a happy outer zone
please be sure to turn around somewhere this side of the outer limits
&
HAVE A BLISSFUL DAY, SERENA JOY!
× × ×
/t.
Why am I going to be testy-snarky-snippy-snappy tonight, GM? Do you know something I don't? I'm not sure "bubble butt" is a compliment, but thanks!:P
I don't think so, either, Skunk. God knows I do it enough to be considered an expert.;)
En route to my happy place, /t. I'll stop short of the outer limits, for sure, because that place scares me. There was a lot of bliss left to be desired today, but hell, I lived through it. Hope your day was reasonably blissful.;)
I work with someone who is chirpy-perky and happy-happy. She manages that, but she is still a realist and can laugh her butt off at one (or more) of my passive-aggressive jokes.
So, I like being there with her.
Doesn't happen often, most of the happy-happy people I've known are either not real or are drinking the Kool aid.
I'm thinkin' you're snappy. Not that you snap (altho we do, sometimes, don't we?) but that you're snappy. You're a pistol, Serena. I miss our long email type postings but its fun to see you several times a week here.
Maybe as we age gracefully, we will be mellow. Maybe.
Graceful aging and mellow -- that's the goal, Quid. I definitely don't want to be one of those elderly curmudgeons.:)
I miss the old daily ponderings, too, and I'm thinking it might be a good idea to round up some of the posse and get it going again. We don't want our tiaras rusting.:)
