The Status Quo Is A No-Go

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more Yesterday at work was, in a word, hellish. Out of a staff of three, there's one woman who's out at least once a month, and often more, because "her child is sick." That must be one of the sickest children in all of Christendom when it comes to school, and yet she's otherwise perfectly healthy and robust. As much as that child misses school, I don't know how she's going to complete whatever grade she's in this year. And she was out again yesterday. A Monday. In an already insane (especially on Mondays) office with a staff of only three people. Hasn't she ever heard of babysitters? I have to confess to looking longingly at scissors and letter openers several times.

On the plus side, the Hillbillies Across the Hall moved out this past weekend. Yippee! You have no idea what a relief it is to have seen the last of them. No more hotrods, no more wife-beater shirts, no more tattooed hicks hanging off the balcony, no more thumpa-thumpa-thumpa at all hours, no more blurry-eyed stray members of the clan crawling out of there in the mornings (if past noon qualifies as morning) in pajamas, lingerie, or whatever. Yes!

Everything else is going neither swimmingly nor horrendously. It just is. Sometimes status quo is a good thing. Other times, it needs to be kick-started and blown out of the water, don't you think?

Oh, and by the way, Blogger is sucking majorly again. I can't edit anything without having to reformat the entire thing, which is annoying, a waste of time, and a pain in my posterior region.

Your blogger sucks too?
I thought I hit a strange button while posting or something!!
For week or so everything was all unpuntuated and scrunched together.
Good-bye to Goober and friends!!

Well, I'm glad the hillbillies moved although I resemble that remark about the tattoos since I have 4 of them. LOL! Blogger has been on my case for months now, but at least I can post again. Sheesh!

Happy Tuesday/Boozeday!!

Love,
Marion

Yeah, all that unpunctuated scrunching together is a sucky Blogger issue, G-man. Grrrr. Bye-bye, Goober! Did you see me waving them off?:-)

Oh, trust me, Marion, your tasteful tattoos in no way resemble that remark! Some of those guys had practically full-body tattoos going on. Hey, Tuesday Boozeday sounds like a decent plan. And I just happen to have some decent rum.:)
