Serena's Friday Playdate

Thank GOD it's Friday! It was a busy, busy week, and not just at work. There's just too much stuff going on. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I'm hoping to sleep in and make up for it a little bit in the morning. But there's still stuff to be done, and more stuff Saturday. Sunday, too, but I think I can beg out of that.

It heated back up yesterday, so off went the heat, on went the AC, and back into the closet went the sweaters and jackets. I've decided that Mother Nature is schizophrenic and needs to be on drugs.

You guys have a terrific weekend. TGIF!

You Are Spooky

You put the trick in "trick or treat," and you won't stop scaring people until you scare yourself.

You love horror movies, dark spooky nights, and the darker side of Halloween. You save the kids' stuff for the kids.

Speaking of kids, you avoid the little candy grubbing monsters at all costs. Well, unless you are looking to give them a little scare.

You think Halloween has gotten a bit to sugary these days, and you don't mind injecting a little fright into things.

LOL! Perfect. Happy TGIF to you, too. (We're having the same psycho weather here, but add a drought to it.) Blessings!

Marion's right!

Our paranoid, overly-P.C. culture has sucked most of the scary fun out of Halloween and turned it into a feel-good decorating fest. It’s practically Second Christmas.

The whole point is for kids to prowl their neighborhoods dressed like ghouls and goblins so they blend in with the spirits roaming the night.

People pass out offerings to those who come knocking in order to avoid evil mischief.
(Which is why kids call out, "Trick or treat!")

Hauntingly good 55!

I love it, Marion -- we're both spooky as hell. LOL. I'm going to do a rain dance for you, girlie.:)

Well, Eric, I'm just going to give the grubby little ghouls little bags of M&Ms and send them on their way.:-)

I DO have my spooky moments, G. Thank you for noticing! I'm making every attempt at a relaxing weekend; lots of reading, vegetating, and a long nap today. I have a "function" tomorrow evening, but I'll have all day to do nothin'.:-)
