Smothered By the Light

Moonlit reverie
Rudely interrupted, the
She-wolf turns and howls.

Despite my best intentions, I've been gobsmacked by the moon this week. I haven't been running through the streets naked, but I've been ... affected. I've been snippy, I've been hyper-sensitive, and I've just felt ... odd. It was like being smothered by something unseen but whose cloying presence cannot be denied. Gawd, I've even picked a couple of fights. Not intentionally, but the sensitive thing kicked in and one thing led to another and ... well, you know how that goes. I don't want to talk about it any more. I just want it to go away. And it would be really, really great if it didn't come back next month.

I feel like music today. In fact, I feel like dancing. Alas, nobody wants to dance with me today, so I'll settle for a couple of tunes -- totally apropos of nothing, except that I kind of was blinded by some light, which sort of made me feel like disappearing into the Mystic.

I'm babbling, so just never mind me. Go, instead, and have a Terrific Thursday!

Two of my ABSOLUTELY favorite songs of all time...
I'm sure if whoever you were at odds with really knew you well.
They would forgive and forget because they would know that it won't be the last time this happens!

YAY! A couple of really golden oldie songs.

This weekend there is a show called "hippiefest" (???) in Clearwater. It stars War, Rare Earth, and Mitch Ryder. Can you believe there are bands still touring with those names?

Loved the post. Hopefully the moonlight will dis-affect you soon!

Oh, I know, Galen. It wasn't the first time, and it sure won't be the last. Stuff happens. So glad you liked the songs!:)

Lord, I hope I get dis-affected soon, Quid. LOL. If I lived anywhere close, I'd swing by and pick you up and we'd for sure go to hippiefest.:)

You're a brave man, G. You do realize there'd probably be a little blood involved?:-)
