I'm in a bit of a funk today. It's partly from frustration at my situation, partly from the ungodly heat and humidity of the past week, partly from pain, and partly from being forced to give up even one molecule of control over my own life. Ugh! Yuck!

My dog walker didn't show up yesterday. He forgot. I know, he's just a kid, getting ready to head off to college soon, and he got an invitation to do something else, and he forgot. When my poor sweet dog still hadn't been taken out to pee at 1:30 P.M., I gave up even more control and called my ex to come and take her home with him for a week or so. She won't be at the mercy of someone else's schedule, and I won't have to depend on someone who could show up at any hour, or not at all. I know she'll be looked after, but I miss her so much I cried last night.

I have three more weeks to get myself fully recuperated. Considering how long it's already been, it doesn't seem like very long. Hopefully, things will move along faster now. They'd better.

My heart goes out to you Sherry.
I'm sorry that one little blip walking down a flight of stairs has steamrolled your life and harmony flatter than a micro waved pancake.

Awww, you poor baby! I hate that you're going through all this. I wish I lived close by so I could come over and bring you some chicken soup and walk your doggie for you. Hang in there. This, too, shall pass. (My a/c was out for 2 days and I just got it fixed...I thought Cody & I would DIE from the heat. It was about 102 yesterday.) Love & Blessings!!

"Steamrolled" is a good description, Galen. Dang, I'm never going down strange stairs again without body padding and a helmet. P.S., I like microwaved pancakes.:)

And I'll bet your chicken soup rocks, Marion. I know this shall pass. I felt really good today, so I'm getting there. So sorry about your lack of AC in that awful heat! Thank God you've got it back.:)

Honest. I TRIED to make it on time, but somehow I wound up on the no-fly list.

Don't you hate that pesky list, Pugsley? I'll bet that's what happened to Black Bart, too. They probably pulled him out of line and he's still there. Go check the airport!:)
