Model Naomi Campbell is wanted by the NYPD for hitting someone. Again. This time, she allegedly assaulted a male driver she'd hired for the day. While driving in Manhattan, she supposedly hauled off and hit the man, for no reason known to humans. Once the bruised and dazed guy got the car stopped, it seems she jumped out and ran. Apparently, the 39-year-old woman is still on the run -- crazed and dangerous. Of course, she has "people," one of whom cautions the public not to "rush to judgment." Yeah, yeah, we know -- there are two sides to every story, and Naomi will gladly and willingly cooperate with the investigation, yada-yada. So sayeth the spokesperson. So, like, where is the belligerent poster child for vapid and dysfunctional celebrities?
This isn't the first time she's hit someone, you know. In 2006, she hit her housekeeper in the head with a cell phone, the punishment for which was five days of community service. Big whoop. I'm sure she served her community oh so well. She was also required to attend anger management classes after that episode. Apparently, she wasn't the star pupil in her class. Two years later, she assaulted two cops at London's Heathrow Airport because the airline lost one of her bags. She got off with a fine for that. There were three other maids between 2000 and 2006 whom she assaulted with telephones. At the very least, she ought to be banned from having phones. In her hands, they become deadly weapons.
She clearly has no sense of civilized decorum and no control over her abusive impulses. So, why do they continue allowing her to work as a so-called "supermodel" and rake in buckets of money for no discernible work or talent? Why continue to reward her outrageously bad behavior? Where is the sense in continuing to enable this overgrown bully by overlooking her felonious outbursts and allowing her out in public? I don't understand why they haven't fired her ass. If I had a record like hers, I'd be doing jail time in some very frumpy underwear and ugly, ugly clothes. She may have a pretty face, but she's eaten up with ugly inside. With her ugly disposition, I'd be embarrassed to have her model and/or advertise anything for me. Are you listening, haute couture? She's not doing you -- or your bottom line -- any favors.

I couldn't agree more. It makes me sick to see some of the things celebrities get away with, especially Naomi Campbell. But the fashion industry (even moreso than the movie biz, I think) simply doesn't care. When Kate Moss was photographed snorting coke, the designer she worked for wore a tee shirt to his show that said, "We Love Kate." Only two things count in the fashion business: skinny and beauty, no matter what it takes to get there.
Campbell's not endorsing any products like Tiger Woods was. You would think a nice long visit in the slammer with some tough bitches would do her a world of good, but does it? It didn't do a thing for that bimbo who's famous only for being rich. Paris is still so shallow that if you took a walk through her deepest thoughts, you wouldn't get the bottom of your feet wet. And they get to go to a special jail, not the kind you & I would be put in. How fair is that? This country is as f**cked up as Chinese music.

Apparently Naomi felt that the 'bad girl' crap that had been associated with Britney, Paris and Lindsay, was too lucrative for her to pass up on. And 'sides...think of the product endorsements she can get...cell phones ("gives a pounding, keeps on textin'"), shoes ("You too, can outrun the da Man with a pair of dis heah when you be misbehavin'"), and maid services ("We Clean So Good, Even Naomi Won't Assault Us!").
