Non-Post

I'm not posting today because I can't think of a thing I feel like posting about. The weekend, which was gloriously Spring-like, is gone and another week in my crazy-house of an office has begun. At least the nice weather is holding and I won't freeze to death at my desk today. There are birds chirping outside my window, busy little harbingers of Spring. I lolled around pretty much all weekend, though I did some shopping Friday and Saturday. Friday's planned shopping expedition got cut short because of a late start due to a dead battery. It was my fault, and I feel completely stupid for killing my battery. Don't ask. Saturday, I had to finish up the shopping and get a new coverlet for my bed. I can no longer use my nice thick comforter because -- get this -- it won't go in the too-small washer the landlord stuck me with when the full-size one died. And I refuse to have bedding that I can't wash at home. I have no inclination whatsoever to drag it to a laundromat. I'm not even sure I remember how to use a laundromat. Anyway, I spent the rest of the weekend reading the $3 Peter Abrahams novel I found in a bargain bin. I loved it!

That being said, well, I guess I did post. A little bit.

Have a great Monday!

Dang...did you just post, after saying you weren't gonna post? *Vvvrrrrrooom* Yep...ya ran that one right by me. And the elements of suspense, surprise, calm-before-the-storm, failure and renewal, either-this-is-too-small or it's-too-big, bargains, and a sidelong reference to the weekly dwelling of SG, were all there.

Yer good, even when you sez you gots nuthin'.

That's okay. I've already been banned from every laundrymat for approaching women and asking if they wanted to share a load.

It's amazing even though at first looking at a blank page, so soon we find that we do, in fact, have something to write about!

Have a good week, Serena.

I guess I kinda-sorta did unintentionally post, Skunk. I do that sometimes.:-)

Oh, dear, Pugsley. You need to sign up for the Serena School of Charm. There's a correct way of saying that, of course, which won't get you banned.:)

Well, I'm axing you, Galen, when the GOOD action starts getting packed in.:)

So true, Lee. There is something about a blank page... :)
